We can use A+B+ AB/100 for successive change and this is more easy for integer values. i.e., increase by 60% & then 20%. 60+20+ 60*20/100 = 92%. (Same for decrease). When one is increasing and second is decreasing then, i.e., increase by 60% and then decrease by 20%. 60+(-20)-+ 60*(-20)/100 = 28%. *Only for TWO Successive percentage Change* But we can use it for more than TWO also and for this first find, first two changes and then use its answer with the third one.

at 21.05 he calclulated the percentage change using the trick of using the denominator, at 16.02 when he used this trick earlier he multiplied the number with 100 sicnce it is percentage change i.e. 5/128 *100 but when in later part , he missed to put 100 i.e 17 /48 *100 should come right? but he calculated for only 17/48 and not multiplied it by 100, can someone explain me

He directly converted the fraction into percentage which he taught earlier. 17/48 is close to 1/3 of 48 which is 16. There remains 1 as 17-16/48 is 1/48. 2% of 48% is 0.96 which is almst equal to 1/48.16/48 = 1/3 = 33.33% and 1/48 is 2% therefore 33.33%+2%=35.33%.

It is very simple sir ne formula discuss kiya tha 1st question mai par. Trick ye hai ki e.g this question 65/48 aane ke baad starting mai 48/48 assume kr lo fir ye dekh lo ki numerator mai kitna change hai like 48 to 65 =17 and denominator mai ko change nhi aayega so.17/48. Then 17%= 16% +1% 16% of 48 =33.33% 1% = 0.48 hota hai 48 islye ham iska 2% lenge 0.96. 2% islye liye kyuki 1% iska 1 ke barabar nhi or 2% 1 ke bhot close hai Then add 33.33 + 0.96= 35.33%

In the last answer when 17/48 comes you can take 1% of 48 which is .48 which is near about 0.5 so ..it will be 34...but since it is less than 0.5 you can easily tick mark the number just less than 34 which in this case will be 33.33%

35.33 and 33.33 is a difference of 2% and if in case you assume this to be correct and choose the option without examining the decimals, it can go wrong. Thus go till the lowest possible
