Bcz 200 is temporary base so we have to convert it into nearest proper base which is 100 ....when we multiply by 2 it makes balance (200 is 2 times of 100 )

At the end it's all algebra. Another way of working this out without handling special cases, (a+b)(a+c) = a²+ab+bc+ac Reorganizing, a²+bc+a(b+c). So, say your numbers were 113 and 94, then a=100, b=13, c=-6 Therefore, 100²+(13*(-6))+100(13+(-6)) 10000+(-78)[phone]+700-78 10000+622 So, 10622, as simple as that. No special cases to handle anytime. The sign of b and c will handle it itself

As I saw your problem, I got confused too but albeit I tried and tried some questions which came out to be correct when I cross-checked them in the original way. The only thing you need to change is the multiple when you are changing the base to 100. For example- if you choose your base to be 150, then when you convert the base to nearest proper base just multiply it by 1.5(150/100 this is what I came up with) and then solve the remaining solution as Ravi sir expalined. (P.S.- don't take this method into consideration until you try it yourself with lots of questions because I tried with only 5 to 6 questions.)

Hello Chiranjeev, Firstly take the temporary base as 500. Then do the following step as given in video. Convert the base to 100 You will get a negative number on right side. When there is negative sign on right side that time you have to use carry and when the number on right side is greater than base then you have to shift the digit to the left and then add. So if example is 77*89 so after cross addition we get on right side digit 253 and on left it is 66 so you have to send 2 on left side that will be 66+2= 68 so final answer will be 6853
