Dig the outfit on Robert Goulet! He looks like the cameo of the week on Hawaii 5-0. Carson’s straight man interview style with his guest comedians was brilliant - wind them up and let them carry the show. Rodney had all the style of the greatest laugh machines: rapid head and eye movement, rolling the eyes, the east coast accent, the moving hands and non-stop one liners. He was an encyclopedia for jokes; all he needed was a key word, like cars, girls, cocktails or Sports, and he knew 40 jokes along each topic. Must have had a memory and a mind like a computer.
