Rodney Owl | A Life Misleading

Rodney Owl (aka Mark McConville) is a Galway-based songwriter, originally from Lurgan, Co. Armagh.
With influences as diverse as Aldous Harding, Lumen Drones, Velvet Underground, The Smiths and Sly & The Family Stone, his songs are evocative yet elusive - filled with abstract lyricism and musical dynamism.
Defining his music as Electric Folk - it is in turn breathless, immersive, thought-provoking, quirky and whimsical…sometimes all at once.
Rodney Owl launches his album Truth is Broken on the Black Gate Label in An Taibhdhearc on Thursday, 13th of April.
