Excellent! I’d love to hear more legend buck lessons and stories. Interactions with them are pretty much always enlightening! One I remember walked along the inside of an old skid run along the top third of the mountain. There would have been no way anyone could have seen him from below at any point during the trip tucked in like that. When he would come to a side ridge he’d turn and walk perpendicular just far enough to the edge to smell and stick his eyes over. Then he’d literally step backwards in his own tracks (never ever turning broadside to the edge) back to the inside tucked in tight and then continue on. The first time he did it I thought “dang that was slick, wonder if he meant to do that”… then he did it several more times and I realized it was completely deliberate and showed an extraordinary understanding of line of sight and how not to ever expose himself as he walked the length of the mountain. Unfortunately I didn’t find his track until the latter part of the afternoon. I was right behind him but unfortunately it got dark before I could catch him. He did that at every point the entire length of the main ridge which is miles long. That impressed me. He was hyper diligent about it and clearly understood exactly what he was doing. I enjoyed that little lesson but I’d like to have at least seen him!

I am from Maine never really hunted the big woods and even though you guys are not from here I respect the way you treat our state and deer, I would love to go out and hunt with you all up there and train basically. They just don’t act like that mid state where they get pushed or hunted hard. I have a good spot though where on the last day my buddy and I know where they are bed up one guy goes through other sits and we always get at least one. It kinda sucks because I have never chased a buck they just are there or they come out. I don’t have the time to scout and with the deer traffic here I don’t want to push the big guy on someone.

When tracking you need to be equally attentive to large cats. I've been very fortunate in several close encounters. Meow

I might be wrong but I thought you had mentioned in one of your videos there would be a video coming out a buck one of the guys got last year after the Mass Hunt fest? Wondering if it is yet to be released? Thanks
