Wow 🤩 they met Shinji Mikami in the flesh lucky. Glad to see how happy Shinji Mikami and the other guy seeing the original Resident Evil cast again after 29 years. I mean we all grew up and grow old with the nostalgia and love of the RE franchise as for me I was only playing until up to RE4 and then the RE Remastered that I still occasionally play from time to time as it brings back the joy in me as a young gamer.

I just found out about the Shadows of The Damned Hella-Remastered yesterday. I'm still somewhat in shock that they're bringing it back after more than 12 years. Definitely one of my favorite cult classic PS3 era games! 🔥🔥🔥

This was such an amazing, charming interview. Normally, the management is strict as hell when you slightly derail from the actual topic, especially when it comes to japanese media and creators. But you really pulled a stunt here with the old Resident Evil cast. So glad these folks are so into it. And yeah, man, two legends on one table right in front of you. When it comes to games, I'm so influenced by the works of Goichi Suda and his "Kill the Past" Universe means a lot to me. Really hope both, Suda and Mikami get the chance to fully remake Killer 7 or even create a full sequel. Will certainly look into the Shadows of the Damned Remaster despite knowing the original quite well (it will be priced resonable). But I will now grab Vanquish from Mikami, haven't played that ever in my life. It's currently on sale. Really an inspiring interview, thanks to both of you and the people behind the camera bringing this to us.

If you got in this video and care about these topics there are high chances you are already or near middle aged, so I must say that comment could have been worded in a much better way, fitting your age and not an internet teenager. It's obvious to anyone that MH surpassed DN in the representation of monsters and their interactions. And how couldn't that be true, looking the difference of technology between the two games? So in the case where MH became a "mega star" franchise for Capcom, it's very hard for DN to stand out. Simple facts, no big deal. At least I can handle the truth that DN will stay buried and the major cause is probably MH.

Wow That was fucking awesome. Got to learn some things we never knew. Mikami remembered Charlie because he acted as a translator during filming. That's amazing! Suda seems like an extrovert who drags Mikami his introverted friend to events 😅 It would be great if someday someone interviewed Mikami all about the series, with special focus on RE1, RE4 and what it was like for him having Capcom develop so many sequels and remakes without him. I'd really love to know how that effcted and continues to affect him - as well as his departure from Capcom.
