I thought Roffle was joshing for ~3 turns missing lethal. Sooo much damage. I once took out a demon seed warlock. T1 bio project and wild growth. T2 they complete the quest with darkglare and drop giants. T3 they use darkglare a little more and drop tamsin with even more giants. Almost full health too cause they drew their dark pacts. Then i cleared their board and otk-ed them

at 18 minutes that was 85 damage from hand. with one courier each seabreeze is 7 casts, already used one is 3, 7+7+3 is 17 casts. with 5 spell damage thats 17*5 or 50+35 for 85 damage from hand. 1 more spell damage would boost that to 102. with double concierge, each seabreeze is 1-3-9 for 13 casts instead of 1-2-4 for 7. +2 spell power with 2 full seabreeze and 2 courier is 26*4 for 104 damage.

@@mees7920 it definitely hasn’t always been like this. Wild from 2016 - 2021 was an excellent game mode. Once the design philosophy shifted in the direction of giving every class cheap card draw wild went downhill rapidly.

So the base combo Of Concierge+Courier+Seabreeze results in 7 instances of the spell. thus base damage is 14. Each spell damage adds 7. With two copies of chalice instead, you get 14 instances of the spell, base damage 28, +14 for each instance of chalice. If you do the combo with Concierge+Courier*2+Seabreeze, you get 12 instances of the spell (1->3->9), and that results in 24 damage base, +12 for every extra spell damage you add. It is important to note that you need to be careful with hand size limitations when firing off challices in double courier combo, as while it has the potential to deal the most damage, your hand space gets REALLY tight really fast, and you miss out on copies if you have more than 1 extra card in hand if you fire them off willy nilly. The combo feels too strong for wild, but it is an EXTREMELY fiddly combo overall.

@volpieee it was more balanced when even warrior was keeping aggro under control but then they nerfed it 5 times and now the only control decks left a having trouble keeping up. My main deck egg hunter is one of the only control decks that work since it can counter lethal.

Is there a reason that he plays the drinks in a certain order (exhausts all first and second drinks first)? The order he plays them in seems to me like it'd only be a disadvantage for hand size concerns.

If you're playing 100% optimally, you'd want to exhaust the 3rd, then 2nd, etc. drinks But as evidenced in the video, optimally doesn't really matter with this combo outside of rare cases.

I mean some ppl have fun with that kind of combos but it shows how utterly broken the state of HS is and that theres no intention to ever make this game any sort of interactable. I wonder how high the percantage of games are where bots are being used. HS feels like a cash cow for blizz

Courier is from Nathria, so wild only. Unless there's a way to duplicate the drink spell reliably in standard I'm forgetting.
