it was always about "The roots" and balance, but totally forgot about possibility to disrupt "just only" someones balance. Such simple and handy. Thanks for opening new paths!

Yeah because taking somebody's balance/root makes getting in easier. The body's always going to choose balance before choosing to fight so that split second they are off balance, go in. But you gave me an idea for my next video.

This is traditional Bullshido, it’s too advanced for all of us!

If pushing someone off balance is too advanced, then I suggest you paying somebody for lessons. Instead of getting free ones from me. Remember you get what you pay for.

Yep, moving IN totally messes with a persons plans. Stepping on their foot as they try to step backwards can/will rip a ligament in the ankle. Ask me how I know 🙄. Don’t try it in practice…just know it’s an option.

My Kung Fu brother did it to someone

@@JKL2LKJ it works, huh? They got an OUCHIE…and probably a cast 😂 NOTE: I’ve broken several bones, but that injury to my ankle took longer to heal than any bone injury. My ankle went from normal to double in size in 10 seconds. It’s a devastating move.

@@sax5055 a lot of times I do it on accident because my foot is used to going down center so if somebody else foot is on center I'm going to step on it. My goal is to do maximum damage with minimum effort

@@JKL2LKJ When you said “by accident” I had to laugh. I only mean this light heartedly. Many, many years ago, I studied shotokan karate. My teacher was an interpreter of the Japanese language for the Air Force; he was just a dude from Texas. I have no idea where he learned Japanese. He studied under the Buddhist monks in Japan. He had really funny stories about getting beat up constantly for the first year. They were trying to make him quit; he ended with a black belt. But, all of his classes here in the states were in Japanese. Only the commands. A front-snap-kick to the ribs and front-snap-kick to the head sounded very similar. So any of the new guys anticipated the command and would invariably block the kick early, which meant you would take a swift forearm on the toes 😬. God bless the newbies…we all were once.
