RoG Strix boards goes like this. E version is the best to get and second only to flagship models, I for small form factor, F for enthusiast high end and A for white builds. Since your CPU of choice is the X3D, any will do. But I would bump if possible to the E version. Its the only one with a 7 segment lcd display for troubleshooting. Check my other video about choosing the right board for a 7950X. Good luck with the build.

The antenna is actually a magnetic base that can attach to the side of your case (if metal).

Good morning brother, of all the x670e motherboards that feature this black and white design, can you say that this is the best x670e in this sense? Or are other models from other manufacturers better? I'm looking for an x670e to retire on the am5 platform

From ASUS this is the "white" board to get, although the heatsinks are not snow white but an aluminum brushed white'ish tending gray. For those with the white Helios themed RoG case, its just the absolutely gorgeous. The board is very capable and high end but lags a bit if you compare it with a flagship X670E. Does not have all the OC settings available. It has a solid power delivery as it can handle a moderatly overclocked 7950X.

ROG STRIX X670E-A Gaming Wifi I recently built a new PC and on stock config everything worked perfectly. Unfortunately I do not recall the BIOS Version it was shipped with. I updated the BIOS to version 1905 and it would not post with EXPO enabled. With it disabled it would post. Same thing with previous versions 1904, 1807, 1709. I got tired of trying all the bios versions and rolled it back to 5/16/2023 version 1415 and finally got it to boot with EXPO enabled. Holy shit was this a headache. ASUS you really need to look into this and get it fixed. This is unacceptable. I should be able to update to the most recent BIOS without any issues.

With the vSoC crisis they had a lot of issues with EXPO. Very picky. Fortunately g.skill is being reported as one of the most stable memory kits. Mine is quite old, it was shipped with 0705 I believe. Talk about old lol 😀. Thank you for the comment and don't forget to subscribe.

Hi, the users manual does mention eCLK but I don't use the feature. Let me dig into BIOS once I get home and confirm it.

I could not check eCLK on my X670 A version. I believe only the E version, Crosshair and Hero have it. Sorry.

Bought one, game with it for a few weeks... The RAM socket got busted for no apparent reason. The RAM itself is fine... Blue screen all over the place because of it. Returned it to the shop and claim the assurance for it... Waited for more than a month for the replacement, they said they changed it to a different unit. Gaming again with it for a week before I got hit with a voltage error... Brought it back to the store for some check, the motherboard went completely broken during check-up and won't turn on anymore. Now I had to wait for another month for a new "unit". I completely regret buying this motherboard and I really wish I could just get my money's worth back... For those who are looking for a good motherboard, I reccommend to just skip this one...

Sounds more like a sketchy retailer than the boards fault. already have direct feedback from lots of viewers, this is a very small channel afterall and I can follow up, and they are very happy. Solid VRM, good memory support since they didn't had to mess with timings and nice features. The only downside is memory context restore that seems to not work at all. If you are going for a white build, this is it.

Hi brother. I got mine 1 week ago with ryzen 7 7700x. In bios, my cpu temperature stuck at 11c and that means I can not manage my fans via pwm. But other 3rd party applications such as hardware monitor or ryzen master, I can see my cpu temp. Do you have any idea about this? I saw many people have this issue but there is no solution in internet.

Do you have Armoury Crate? Does the reading there is OK? If so, inside AC, in Fans Xpert, you can do the custom fan curve. I'll search a bit about this too.

@@LocalIT ofc I checked it. AC directly receive information by motherboard. So you can not use pwm.

@@kokturkberk That's really bad, have you considered RMA? A work around would be set the source temperature of intake fans to the GPU temp and custom curve from that. My front Case fans are working with GPU temps. Have you got a CPU air cooler or AIO?

@@LocalIT I have aio cooler. Actually, I don’t want my case fans spin faster. They are working at 1800 rpm and they are pretty silent while doing good job. I just want to change my cpu fan and aio pump speed automatically. I have asked same question to another youtuber and he said that this is a bios bug for last few version. I guess we need to wait to fix this.

Hi, I'm Sorry but no. The review is there, it may not be what you seek or want, but its there. This is why you should search for several reviews/videos as they will be different from one to another adding information and perspectives to the potential buyer. Keep in mind that I had to squeeze an unboxing, comparison and the review so it is what it is. Luckily and thanks to the viewers, the video is doing pretty well for a very small KZbinr like me. @@bismarckrathod5890 Its a nice buy on a white or aluminum theme build. Don't forget to check QVL for the ram. Have a look at some forums like Reddit for the boot times and if memory context restore is works on newer BIOS without BSODing. Good Luck

I got it, immediately updated bios to latest before installing windows. Not a SINGLE problem. Rock solid stable memory oc and curve optimizer. Its silent, cool and rock solid performing. Make sure to update the audio firmware.
