Sergeant Woodman gingerly itched his face where the tight straps of his Rebreather were rubbing against his stubble, before tucking his hand back into his armpit and moving closer to where the majority of his squad stood, huddled, by the _Twrch Trwyth's_ radiator grill, trying to use the dappled blue Tank's ambient warmth to fend off the leaching chill of the smothering yellow-green smog that surrounded them. "Right lads, get yourselves into position now before Commissar Owens gives us a bollocking!" The command was met with the usual mild grousing, but they took up their positions in crumbling manufactorum with a well drilled precision. Sergeant Woodman went over to the broad-Shouldered figure of weapons specialist Henessey, chrouching down next to him, tucking in behind a servo loader. "Anything?" He muttered. Henessey shook his head and handed the binoculars he had been peering through over to Woodman. "Quiet as the grave, Sarge!" he asserted, voice gruff. "Hell's teeth! I need a smoke!" continued Henessey, pressing the heel of his palm into his temple, blue eyes wincing shut. Trooper Hope chuckled darkly. "Those things'll kill you, Havoc." Henessey gave a bark of laughter. "Rather them than whatever the Funt We're meant to 'hold the line' against!" he chortled, his pale face crinkling into a smile beneath his mask. Woodman smiled inwardly, letting the bickering fade into the background and set to work scouring the roiling fog clouds for anything lurking within. Hours passed, the miasma's chilling tendrils sinking into their flesh and numbing them to their core. The entire squad were reporting headaches. Trooper Hope called him over halfway through their watch, beckoning him weakly, discomfort evident on their dark skinned face. "Sir. Think i've got something. Two metres ugh...". They paused for a moment, holding up a hand apologetically, clutching their stomach. "Sorry sir. Almost drowned myself. Funt. Two metres west of the north Processing plant. I saw someone." Sergeant Woodman reached out a hand for the proffered Binoculars. "Take a moment, But keep that mask on, else you'll be coughing up your innards. I'll need you able if there is something coming." Hope nodded gratefully and slumped against a workbench, whilst Woodman once again peered through the binoculars. The smog seemed to be coalescing, deepening, as though it were working against him. Even so, he could just about see shadows moving in the murk; hulking figures with horned heads, standing between eight and nine feet tall. Swallowing a trill of fear, he thumbed his Comm bead. "This is Sergeant Woodman. Of the Brobnaar 1st. I have visual on Vector Primus. 2 Metres west of Northern Processing plant. Four targets. Can anyone confirm?" He felt the squad tense up, a nervous energy filling the space, before a voice came through, Brusque and business -like. "This is tank Commander Everett, of the _Draig Glas_ . We have poor visual. Ping the target. We will do the rest." Woodman signalled an affirmative and turned to his squad. "Right, there's something moving out there, and the Bossman wants it lit up like it's Sanguinala. Hope, you spotted them; You take the first shot. Rest of you, use that to get your eye in. Havoc, save your shot till we're properly in the sh*t. High intensity, sustained burst, on my mark. Ready? Mark." The first shot spat out from Hope's lasgun with a KER-ACK, followed a high pitch whine as the crimson beam of energy was maintained. Seven more beams joined the first, boring through the mist. Woodman watched the beams stab towards the figures, bathing them in redlight, illuminating their diseased and twisted forms, filling Woodman with equal parts revulsion and terror. Then, with earthshaking recoil, the _Draig Glas_ and _Twrch Trwyth_ opened up, and the four figures vanished in a bloom of incandescent fury. The fog burned away, replaced by a fire so bright Woodman had to look away. Masonary and metal split and sundered at it's ferocity. But the figures, now revealed, stood resolute, their decayed Terminator plate and corpulent, disease ridden flesh unheeding of the punishment they had endured. The lead Terminator held his oozing, rust bitten scythe one handed, raising it above his head in defiance. Dread filled Woodman, rotting away all but the most scant hope. What more could they do? The dissipated mist swirled back towards the Plague Lord, as though eager to join it's master. Large shapes moved in the mist, enemy warmachines trundling towards the demoralised Guardsmen. Suddenly, a shot rang out, singular and profound. The WHIP-CRACK rapport of a suppressed High Calibre Sniper round. The Plague lord staggered, sinking to one knee. Immediately, the other Terminators moved to cover him even as the tell-tale sparks of an activated Teleporter began to crackle over him. The Comm bead squawked to life. "All units, this is Commader Everett. Reinforcements are enroute. These Traitorous scum seek to break us, mind and Body. We will hold the line. We will draw out The Vector Primus and he will fall. For Brobnaar!!" Sergeant Woodman and his Squad took up the shout and began to charge forward, even as the Ominous machines lurking in the befouling smog unleashed their attack.

Just in case since you guys are learning awesome new armies (idk if this is acknowledged at a later point yet) but the Krieg medipack ressurects D3 models in your command phase it does not give a 6++ (That's from a command squad)

Greaat report, looking forward to more deathguard as the army increases. One query do have is why do you not use the 40k app while the rules are still free, its much more reliable than battlescribe for the actual unit rules (a power sword Sergeant should not have 4 attacks for example 2 is correct) and it's pretty easy to use.

It is mainly because I'm not a Warhammer plus subscriber so I don't get multiple lists I can build, I find battlescribe easier for my love of writing lots of lists. But yes you are right the app is great.
