As a current bush hunter what are some good resources you recommend to begin the journey towards shooting beyond my current 220-250mtr limit? Shooting a 7mm-08 with Hornady 162 ELD-M and 154g SST’s. Just switched to these after using 120-140g BT’s.

Crikey Gordon to be honest mate I don't know bugga all about 7mm08 ballistics. I use a 155gr pill in my 308 and I've shot deer out past 600m. What advice I can give though, you will need to work on your marksmanship principles and shooting processes as the further you shoot the bigger the little things can impact your accuracy..eg recoil management, and environmental factors...

Hey Rogee Ive just set up my tikka 20” 308 with 150gn Nosler balistic tips doing 2750. What os your opinion of the max ethical max range bro? Im mainly a bush hunter but will be doing some longer range work hopefully to 500yds🤞

I guess it depends on your skill first(bullet placement)and then the ballistic capacity of the cartidge. Im happy to shoot my 308 pushing a 155gr AMAX out to 600m
