I love Roger Daltry and Tommy!! I saw the WHO perform all of Tommy, all of Who’s Next, and so many epic songs at Day On The Green in July 1976, I was so knocked out, the Grateful Dead opened and they really played well that day, didn’t want to be blown off the stage again…. I am fainting

The first REAL front man of rock and roll. Eat your heart out Mick Jagger, you aren't worthy enough to eat Roger's TOENAIL CLIPPINGS!

Roger was so loveable on Highlander the series. It sucks that he couldn't be the only immortal. Hugh Fitzcairn forever!

This is really very good music! Nowadays only "Narcomusic" or soft pop,but sometimes we are able to go back to The Golden Times!

It's a shame the aspect ratio is messed up on this video. Otherwise the synthesis of rock and symphony is fabulous.

I am so mad that The Who didn't stick with Simon on drums
@cameroncooper41752 жыл бұрын
Simon is fantastic - almost too good. Zak was a better fit in the end. Simon was the guy for the big productions though.
@munimathbypeterfelton6251 Жыл бұрын
Maybe Simon had other projects going on and couldn't commit to The Who...?

Who is that drummer ???
@munimathbypeterfelton6251 Жыл бұрын
Simon Phillips. He also played drums with The Who in 1989 on the band's 25th Anniversary Reunion tour, as well as being a studio session drummer on some of Pete Townshend's solo albums.
