Co-Founder of Teen Cancer America, Roger Daltrey, has a conversation with teen/young adult cancer survivor Jordan Lerner, who helped fund our CHOP unit and program after being diagnosed at age 19. His parents, Bob and Carol Lerner, later founded the TCA Annual Golf Outing at Metedeconk National Golf Club, raising over $1 million for Teen Cancer America in just three years. Teen Cancer America partners with hospitals throughout the United States to develop specialized facilities and services for teens and young adults with cancer. We build teen friendly environments, develop standards for age-targeted care, improve collaboration between pediatric and adult specialists, and support dedicated research to improve outcomes and survival rates.

Thank you Roger Daltrey for all that you do! As a breast cancer survivor myself I am in awe of all that you and Pete Townshend do. Not only are you the most talented and gorgeous man to ever walk this earth, you are so amazing with how you are helping the young be more comfortable while going through all of their treatments. I hope your knee heals quickly! I have donated as much as I can afford to TCA and will continue to do so. You have been my idol since 1970 (I was 10) and when I first heard about TCA I was so proud that it was you & Pete who founded it. I do remember during covid I donated $500 for a 3 minute one on one zoom with you and I hope you do that fundraiser again because I would absolutely find the funds to contribute! If you have the recording of that zoom it was right before your Birthday and I was the only one out of all who wished you a Happy Birthday. Long Live Rock! I love you Susan.
