I met Decoster in Seattle back in the early 90s. He and Rick Johnson were at the local moto shop. No one was there except me, due to the weather. So, I got to BS with Roger Decoster. My high light in life for sure; very nice guy.

He was a rock star when we were teenagers. We used to see him at Red Bud. I got his autograph.

Roger DeCoster was my hero at RedBud in the 70’s. My teenage years.

These kids names will come and go , Quickly. ROGER DECOSTER name will live forever. I saw him ride 500cc against Marty Smith in 1978= and there is no better rider on the planet, then or now. Roger won because of strength and superb effiency. DECOSTER is the BEST MOTORCROSS rider who ever lived. Watch him in his prime and you will agree. RESPECT. RH DSD

i remember de costa at oran park sydney australia in 1970's riding a hodaka 100cc passing every one .. he put the suzuki 370 cc in the pits because he was so fast it was a hadicap that he rode the hodaka 100 cc ..i have a home made movie of it ..joel roberts was there two his suzuki team make .. joel was so strong he could pick up his suzuki up out in front of him ...skeatesy1

SX ledgend??? he never won a SX in his life. He's an MX Ledgend and just a full on ledgend I guess.
