Roger Federer played a great tournament and he also returns to No. 2 in the South African Airways ATP Rankings! It is not sure whether or not Roger will play in Rome, since he wasn't sure of it in his latest interview. If he will play, I will surely make a video of it!

Roger has had an incredible season so far, especially at the age of 30 and thoroughly deserves the number 1 spot after winning his 7th Wimbledon, he's made the semis or better of every tournament since the USO last year apart from in Miami which has been his only real blip this year which is amazing. His W/L ratio since the USO being 63 wins to only 6 losses which isn't far off Novak's ratio in 2011, only being 7 wins off that and being a big favourite for the olympics he could match that.

the problem w the clay is not that you cant slide, but rather its very difficult to recover from the slide... the ball behaves like it does on a hard court, but you have to slide around on clay, not enough friction to get back in position in time...how is this a good court??

Think this proves that you can play good tennis on blue clay with some adjustments. Maybe Djokovic and Nadal should look at this.
