7:41 prime example of the way Federer adapts and flick's his wrists when he's on defense, and then just puts it back to neutral. Then when he gets on the offence, he can really hurt his opponent. He kept his shots really deep, angled and he really revolutionized the game of tennis. The only other guy that could do that was Agassi. But Agassi did not serve like Federer did, Agassi couldn't move like Federer did...

Ah, the days when Dadydenko was the eternal no 3 in the rankings, because Fedal had the top 2 spots. In about 1 year from this match, it was Djokovic's turn to be that eternal no 3 😂

He was a great ball striker despirte not as much power. He had the game for a slam, but I don't think he had the mental strength required. During his 2009- early 2010 run when he won shanghai and atp finals, he was really amazing. He was challenging Federer at AO 2010 QF, but then he lost 13 games in a row

@@Chelvam-so4qh Because they're 6'2 and 6'1 respectively. More height = more power. Djokovic is lanky so he can also use that to his advantage. In addition to Federer's height and technique, his power also comes from his frame and his strings. His racquet is about 12.8 oz strung. He puts lead tape underneath the bumper guard of his racquet for added stability and power and then puts a little bit of weight in the butt cap to balance the weight out. He used natural gut in his mains and Alu power rough in the crosses. The gut helps him get the power and feel while the polyester got him the spin and control. With his 90 square inch racquet he strung his mains at 51 lbs (23 kg) and crosses at 48 lbs (21.5 kg) and with the 97 he strung his mains at 59 lbs (27 kg) and crosses at 56 lbs (25.5 kg).

not at all. Hewitt was a counterpuncher who mastered beating the net-charging game. Davy was an aggressive baseliner. That's why they peaked at vastly different times eventhough they were the same age

@@John-lr4hp That's true. They just remind me of each other. Had they got more power, who knows what could have been. Federer's bh, his Achilles heel has more power than them.
