Dude he just did it so casually, even did that little leap in the air. Like wtf.

how good it is to see him not slicing the backhand return? he drove the ball so much more here!
@ferguson71287 жыл бұрын
And that´s why he is the best ever in my opinion. It´s not only about the numbers (which favour him anyway), but as well about the playing style of tennis. Federers is the most beautiful, he could play his whole life and come up with those shots.

Still can't get over the black court. It's so slick. Hope they get more courts like this on the tour

6:38 I could (and have) watch that backhand over and over! It is the cleanest down the line pass I've ever seen. He is in full stride, position and timing was perfect then the way the body just follows through is just peRFection! 🤩

Andres Porras Sneak Attack By Roger (SABR)- where fed comes in close to the service line, picking the ball at a very early stage (even earlier than a half-volley) and possibly looking to force his opponent to play a passing shot.

Kailash Patel and now we know why! as always with roger, he speaks of his injuries months or even years after they happen, to prevent the media from overdiscussing it and others from reading too much into it. back issues plagued the end of 2017 for him, he discussed this year.

Team Europe: 36 Grand Slam titles, 55 finals, including 2 future multi-slam champs. ATP ranks: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 19. Team World: 0 Grand Slam title, 0 final, 2 youngsters with bright futures (+Nick Kyrgios). ATP ranks: 16, 17, 20, 21, 51, 72. And you expect this cup to be competitive? lmao....
@thebigsquirrel507 жыл бұрын
The T-10 this is basically the "Upset Challenge". See how many times the World can upset Europe in three days lol
@ferguson71287 жыл бұрын
And still got lucky Brown doesn´t play for team Europe.
@kylejohansen6897 жыл бұрын
It actually has been quite competitive through the first two days. Cilic beat Tiafoe in two breakers, Thiem beat Isner in a match TB, Zverev beat Shapovalov in two breakers, Rafa beat Sock by one point, Kyrgios just edged Berdych, and in the Fedal doubles, Sock and Querrey had the upper hand until the match TB began. The only match that has been non-competitive so far has been Fed/Querrey.
@saltedllama27597 жыл бұрын
In future years it could change rapidly. Roger and Rafa are obviously at the end of their careers, and Murray and Djokovic probably won't last much longer (in terms of top-tier competitive play). I think this paves the way for a really nice event during the lull between the US Open and the YEC, and can show off a lot of young and upcoming talent. I could see Roger and/or Rafa becoming coaches for this event down the road.

I think its because he's feeling a lot better physically than at the USO but doesn't have the match repetition yet like Wimbledon. As long as he doesn't tweak his back again he should be back to Wimbledon form for the indoor season.
