Novak came in at the end of Roger's prime (2003-2010). Novak Djokovic never even faced prime, Roger Federer on grass. Prime federer on grass 2004-2008 is untouchable and beats any version of Djokovic on grass. Nadal defeated a prime Roger Federer in 2008 and took prime Roger Federer to a 5 setter in 2007 and a God level federer to a 4 setter in 2006. On the other hand, Novak Djokovic struggled to beat 35-38 year old Roger Federer (2015-2019) If 38 year old federer could outplay prime Novak you dont wanna imagine what would 2005-2008 Roger can do. He would blow away Novak in 3 or 4 sets and it wont even be close. Those grass courts were fast and the defense of novak won’t prevail against the Federer forehand missiles.
