I found this movie at a library today. I really want to watch it now. Should re-make it with Brian L Roberts as "Roger". Brian L. Roberts is currently putting a lot of people out of work in small to mid-sized cities, but its methods are sneakier.

Personally, I am a BAG FAN of Michael Moore and I enjoyed his first documentary of "Roger & Me" except for the scene with the lady beating up a rabbit in order to sell its meat in the film. Thanks, Mr. Moore, for showing what your documentaries meant to your fans.

Two things, the fact this is a true story and it only got worse from here on. Secondly, when you ask certain individuals if they've seen any of Michael's movies and they answer no. I just don't see how it matters what someone's political views are determines whether or not someone watches a MM movie.

Yea, I agree. Obviously, M-M, the freemason moniker, and other controlled/fake opposition, like Moore, does this stuff. This one is rather obvious. Worse than alex jones, and that's sayin' alot. Moore is in on it with GM, and the people, (jesuits), who control GM.

In the early 80s I worked as a junior mechanic at 2 GM dealerships. One of my jobs was inspecting and correcting quality issues on the cars and trucks before the customers took delivery. It took me on average two and a half hours to correct all that was wrong with those vehicles from the factory! And then they would come back around 2 weeks later with something else wrong or worse yet on the back of a tow truck! I was then recruited away from those dealerships to work at a dealer that sold three popular brands of Japanese cars (Honda, Subaru, and Isuzu). Those cars and trucks (for the most part) came in flawless. The only time I ever worked on a brand new Japanese car for 3 hours is when I installed an air conditioner. When I was working in a non-union truck Factory I was urged by many of my co-workers (both pro-union and anti-union) to see this movie. I rented it from Blockbuster. From what I've seen, heard, and experienced the American Auto workers (and their idiot management) brought these problems upon themselves!

Funny thing Eminem writes in an early early song from before he's famous about actually being jealous of those who had a job in GM. He must have written it around 1996 or 7 so it's on his first famous album. He was a short order cook at that time.

MM has ALWAYS been a fat, greedy, self-serving hypocrite...especially when he made Roger & Me. Remember Rhonda Britton, a.k.a. "the crazy rabbit lady"? When the film came out, Moore had Britton, who was illiterate, sign what he told her was a release for a limo ride to the film's premiere. Know what it actually was? A waiver to her share of the film's profits. This from a man who claims to represent the common man...

The GM lobbyist who explained capitalism to Michael Moore made the most sense of anyone in the film. Moore really seemed to believe that GM owed Flint something simply because they started the company there. He seemed outraged that GM was actually in business to make money and not be run as a welfare program. His problem has always been with capitalism and yet last I checked, he was worth $50 million due to capitalism. His badge of honor is he pays his taxes in full. Being laid off is always tragic (have been there myself), especially when it involves an entire city, but waiting around for someone to come along and offer to reopen the plant isn't the solution. Moore seemed unhappy with the fact that former autoworkers had moved on to other jobs. He ridiculed every other job shown in the film. He also demonized anyone who had money or who encouraged the unemployed to stay positive. He claims this film was a failure because it didn't inspire any development or investment in Flint. That's his fault for showing that laid off workers turned to crime as a solution to their problems! He showed Flint in a horrible light and even made fun of the city's attempts to build new hotels and businesses. Despite all this, Roger and Me is probably his most watchable film as it stays away from politics. Unfortunately, he didn't hire a narrator to drown out his awful voice and accent.
