@@dreia2405yeah at first it looks like Tony in Scarface can be mistaken for being afraid of him coming closer and groveling on the floor, and Tony rolling back in his chair. But it was a combo of Tony disguised with the “cock-a-roach” and wanted him to grovel more - wheeling back for a better view.

That scene shows how Carlito Brigante is very envious of Benny Blanco for becoming what Brigante was at the past, a VIP druglord. And curiously, that's why he ends up being "trapped by his own past." Edit: Benny Blanco may have killed, or had Clayfield killed, but he was much smarter and didn't make a move until he reappeared and settled the matter once and for all.

His problem was being one foot in one foot out. He truly wanted out but the way he was moving was as if he's still in that life. You put hands on someone in that life or a similar life, they don't care what your name was like on the streets, young guys will kill you. He should've known better. When I was younger I was walking into a corner store for some candy and slim Jim's. There was a man outside the building on the phone arguing with someone. He was pissed and the threats he was spitting at that man through the phone had me shook. I heard enough to know it was over a pack of cigarettes that were stolen by the person on the other end of the line. Dude said "if I see your face again I'ma shoot you in it, you gone die over some cigarettes." but the way he said it. Made me turn around and go back home I didn't even wanna walk past the man.

To be honest the only intimidating one was Scarface because he wasn't always in control or being reasonable. Denzel Washingtons character in american gangster was being as reasonable and professional as someone in his chosen life could be and the same goes for robert DeNiro in his gangster roles. Actually most mob leaders were very reasonable and fair. If you didn't look for trouble with them, you didn't have any. They will reapect everyone who respects them back regardless of who you are, even law enforcement. They aren't intimidating, they are just dangerous if you give them a reason to be. That's part of why they were so successful and often times even legitimate in business, its because they could play on both sides of the law simultaneously, and they didnt destroy neighborhoods either, they actually improved them, made them safer, and raised property values. Is mafia life a good life to live? No, it isn't and they'll say so themselves, but they didn't make trouble for innocent members of society, if they did, they ended up in big trouble with their own in many cases for drawing unwanted attention. That isn't intimidating, it's reasonable. Who would want to do business with an unhinged nut case anyways?

I actually think Scarface is one of his worst roles and the movie is highly overrated. I think he did a far better job in Godfather and Carlitos way but then again, maybe I just didn't like the Scarface character and it felt highly over the top compared to roles he usually played which had a more realistic feel to it. As for who's better than who, I think it can go either way and comes down to preference. Both are incredible actors.

@@hakshustletvIf you think that Scarface is one of the worst roles and overrated then you don't know anything about acting and movies. Tony Montana is the most badass gangster character ever made.

@@flametornado491 Or maybe it's just my opinion. You would say I don't know nothing about movies but if I say Godfather is one of the best movies and imo arguably Pacinos best role a lot of "movie experts" would also agree. Some of you are just straight up arrogant and narcissists and think your opinion is final it's actually sad lol.
