On November 8, 2008, legendary James Bond actor Roger Moore visited the Book Revue bookstore in Huntington, NY to sign his autobiography MY WORD IS MY BOND. He gave a 17 minute Q&A session before 600 fans.

Have The Live and Let Diaries, My Word is my Bond and Last Man Standing, all great reads! Roger you were a gentleman and humanitarian, a legend. One of a kind, and the best sense of humor! Roger Moore is an extremely charming man. I had the pleasure of attending an interview at the N.Y. Times Center with their film critic as a promotion for Moore's autobiography and he graciously signed all books. He dosen't take himself too seriously and speaks warmly about Sean Connery, Michael Caine, Audrey Hepburn and other icons.

The Spy Who Loved Me may have been Roger's favorite Bond film that he starred in, but I actually believe that For Your Eyes Only was the best one. Incidentally, I think that he actually looks better in this interview than he did in his last Bond picture, A View To A Kill, which was what, 20 years ago?

We all have our favorite Bonds. I myself, prefer Timothy Dalton and Daniel Craig (in a tie), but I do enjoy Roger Moore's additions, as well. My personal fave of his 007 films has to be "Octopussy"
