Great Playing. I'm considering the Korg Kronos because when you switch between sounds, it doesn't completely cut out. Very Very good playing indeed. I hope I can play the keys like this someday.

This mox8 is a great synth. It sounds amazing and it's so light!!! If you have roadies or never gig then go for the xf8. But you can't beat the mox8 on price or gigability! The only thing that sucks is the 9.5v power connection!!

Was reading comments. Definitely not ideal audio quality. It's understandable to just record from the cam's own audio, but won't give you an accurate picture of what a Motif sounds like - great playing.

The MOX is still a great Board even today but players like this can make almost anything sound great and when the sound goes through a PA system anything mid-level and above will sound pretty much the same.
@babar14113 жыл бұрын
niceeee weres the second half??
@blakeangelos12 жыл бұрын
Actually, the MOX can do what you are suggesting and can effectively lock the keyboard, preventing inadvertent voice changes. You can simply press the remote button and it works the same way.

This composition can also be played on single MOX without dishes and Guitar, just program tracks individually and play mix, that's all

WOW! -so that's what my MOX CAN sound like. Bit more practice needed, I think. Great stuff....

Kinda lame that yamaha didn't put "patch remain" feature. Hurts me seeing him change sounds like that. Kurzweils have had that feature since forever. Either way very nice playing.

The musicianship here is awesome. This guy could make a toy piano sound great, so it doesn't tell you much about the MOXF. However, I have one (even if I can't play like this guy). The piano is Ok, but not as expressive as I'd like. I have a Roland RD, which is MUCH better (but also much heavier). The EPs are pretty good, especially the Yamaha CP-70 and DX7 sounds. As a working instrument it's great, since it really is super light and portable. It has a very good action--not as good as the Roland, but better than Kurzweil or Korg, despite being cheaper and lighter. The ability to accept a flash board and additional sounds is also great. I don't find all of the arpeggios and patterned playing options that useful, but EDM and hip-hop users should like them. If you're looking for an "interesting" synth with unusual new sounds or primarily a stage piano, there are better choices. As an inexpensive, portable, bread-and-butter board for doing gigs, it's almost perfect. A lot of the working musicians that I know use these and swear by them.

Iz there a BIG difference, Andre? Roger said, da MOX, contained all da Motif soundz.
@tyleryesta111 жыл бұрын
The Rhodes sounds a bit thin in the video. Is it just the compressed sample he's using? Are there fatter Eps in there?
@trevorsmith89504 жыл бұрын
Yeah, they have a decent selection of EPs. The organ sounds are mostly terrible, and there are like 3 piano sounds that sound great, and the rest are soaked in reverb or super hokey. IMHO
