@@miro115 It's not as if Roger sat in one room and created the concept and idea and lyrics of the song and David sat in another and created the chord progression and the solos and all of the musical nuances, and then they came and mashed them together. Classic Floyd was always a purely collaborative effort, the music influenced and complimented the song concept and vice versa. David's composition is essential to the feel and impact of Roger's writing; without him, there is no Dogs, or Animals, or DSOTM, etc.

The lowering of the middle screens is powerful here, but was incredible live. There had just been a 15 minute break, so everyone was kind of relaxed, then all of a sudden the lights go down, “the writing on the wall” starts moving and red emergency lights appear with a deafening sound. I saw this in Kansas City on the first night of the tour. The crowd pretty well lost it when Battersea Station emerged from the middle of the arena. The “Resist What?” part wasn’t in the show yet though. A few people left when Trump’s face appeared on the screens during Pigs (Three Different Ones). I found that odd. Waters has made his political views very clear over the last four or five decades. How his view of Trump could be a surprise to anyone at this point is beyond me.

I went to the "Dark Side Of The Moon" and "The Wall" concerts but when Waters brought a long haul ticket on the Anti-trump train it got a but Hack and over shadowed the Fun aspect of going to a show, I'm not an American so I don't need to be told Trump-Bad at every turn - But then Waters went hard after Bush when he was President and he still won again in 2004 So his views don't have much effect on voters so why bother?

When I was just a kid, there was a scene in a sitcom called WKRP in Cincinnati where they were playing a song with dogs barking. I was drawn to it. The show didn't say the name of the song, but noted it was Pink Floyd. I went to the record store, saw a Pink Floyd album named ""Animals" with a song called "That had to be song, so I bought it. I played it so much I wore out the grooves while wearing some massive Koss headphones. Crazy how a 15sec segment on a mindless tv show can alter your musical life. Seen Floyd several times and solo Waters once.

Not from this world. You can say what you want, but Animals is - together with TDSOTM and WYWH - just their finest work. Au pair for me! And dogs is one of the most epic rock songs ever composed.

Will forever get chills listening/watching this. The vocalist here does such a fantastic job. Jonathan Wilson, check him out he is a fantastic songwriter guitar player and singer. He's put out a great body of work under his own name past 10 years or so (great intro song is Desert Raven). This song and performance is hauntingly good. Anyone know what performance this is from? Was fortunate to see Buffalo and Lyon France on this tour.

I caught the one show on the tour (St. Louis) where this contraption over the crowd broke and wasn't used, bummer. Otherwise, what a phenomenal tour. I should have seen the "latest" tour a week or two ago were the world not coming to an end. Hope Roger is keeping that tour concept on ice, though I imagine it might have been a very different show in Summer 2020 before the American election vs 2021.

Saw this live in Dublin Ireland, pity the arena was to small for the screens to drop down like they did here. Still an amazing night though
