Elisabeth, only 80 years ago, the entire world was just going to war. And I often ask myself what the people who survived World War II thought when it was revealed to them that Hitler had 6 million innocent Jewish people murdered. And then later, when the people of the free world learned that Stalin had an estimated 9 million innocent Jewish people murdered. Add to that all of the innocent people killed on both sides during that span of years, along with the fighting men and women who died on both sides.

His Music has a strong message that a lot of people don't understand.Yes it's political only because of mans humanity towards it's fellow man. It will only get worse because of greed and their power driven madness for power.Politicians are just the tools of the big CEO's and their companies.A lot of Politicians around the world look with envy at America where a lot of the workers have no rights. No job, no house,no health care. It's as if we have let the money makers set the rules and how we should live within their boundaries. Americans may say that they are the greatest country in the world, that's because they have been told that for so long. If music be the tool of the working class, then long live Roger Waters and Pink Floyd.

@@PandaThiefChannel He wrote the lyrics, not the song. When people say 'songwriter' they mean the actual musical composition, not the lyrics. Thats called a 'lyricist'. Us and Them is only attributed to Wright for songwriting credit. So I assume he wrote almost all of the music here. Though the final production (adding effects and mixing) was Waters/Gilmour.
