2022 Spring Canada Archery Bear Hunt. Bowhunting Big Canada Bears.

A Canada black bear hunt has always been on my bucket list and this was the prime time opportunity for me as I go overseas for work. Come along on the adventure as I kill a nice bear in the last hour and a half of the hunt, 10 hour from the time I have to catch a plane back to Texas. thanks for watching!

Hey Brady, good to hear from you. Yes, presently overseas but I will get to come hunt the rut at the ranch early December so you will see some new content up I hope. I did buy some more land in Oklahoma, a small piece that's suppose to have some big deer. We shall see. Glad our ideas have helped on the channel. Anthrax is deadly to the deer for sure. The dry weather exacerbates the problem as that anthrax is easily released from the soil as a deer sticks it nose on the ground to eat. Around 2000, about 5 years before I bought our place at Indian Creek, there was a major Anthrax kill off and it reduced the WT population to about 1500 deer for 10,640 acres. It took 5 years to get back to a decent population of deer. Sorry to hear that. Thank goodness for the recent rains. Hopefully you've been getting some good rain where you are. Where are you guys located?

@@RealRadNek Good to hear! Since I am a ranch owner myself I like to hear about all the ranch chores and projects as well and I bet I am not the only one interested in that! That long video you did was great but just some more up keep stuff is awesome. Yeah it's been a bummer, we bought in 2018 too, so haven't seen a really large deer herd yet. We bought north west of Rocksprings. Inbetween 377 55 and 277. South of Sonora.

Yah, I try to do some of the ranch interest stuff but now it will just be hunting as my time is really limited hunting when I worked in Houston area I was at the ranch at least 2xs a month or more. You have Axis where you are don't you?

Did they have the stands there for you or did you have to bring them?

He holds the biggest concession of land for outfitting in the area and his outfitters maintain more bait sites than hunters can hunt so you have many options. I simply trusted my guide since he keeps up with all his bait sites and he did put me on bears as you could see. They had all stands in place so no need to bring stands. If I am able to go again I would like to bring my tree saddle. Not needed but it would be fun. Thanks for watching. All the best.

Thought the first one was pretty good :). I’m the Bowhunting RadNek. No phony baloney plastic banana hunting on this channel. You’ll have to go to the sportsman’s channel to get the air brush touch up hunting. You get the real life hunt, good bad and the ugly here. Unfortunately, yes or you will have to quarantine. i had to get the jab cause I am moving overseas for work. It was actually easier getting into Canada with the jab than getting back into USA. Required COVID test to get back within 24 hours of arrival. Crazy control freak governments we have these days.
