Why Do Expats Need Health Insurance In The Philippines? Though the Philippines’ medical hospitals and health services may not be as expensive as Western hospitals, it may hurt you financially if you are not covered by health insurance. Welcome to our KZbin Channel! If you want to share a dollar or two then we are forever grateful but if you have something that you believe is more important to spend the money on then by all means, please spend it on that. Your support means the world to us whether there is a dollar sign connected to it. Any donations we receive go towards our travels and our videos. Our goal for this channel is to show the world through our videos and our perspective that all people are the same, Philippine Culture, Filipino women dating foreigners, no matter race, age, or religion while having a laugh and bringing entertainment to our viewers at the same time. With this money, we believe we can bring the world closer together in a world filled with too much negativity via social media. Thank you for your time and consideration! This was good so thanks for doing it. You mentioned several insurances I've never heard of for the Philippines. There are a lot of these that I'll need to investigate to determine which will be best for me when I move to the Philippines.

I carry medical insurance through Divers Alert Network. While I already receive coverage through the Veterans Administration, the VA does NOT cover dependents (a consideration because the fact that I am marrying a Filipina is why I plan to move to PH in the first place), and does not provide coverage outside the US. While our government sponsored Medicare system covers everyone 65 and over (I am 59, so eligible in 6 years), it also only offers coverage within the US.

If an American decides to come live in the Phillipines, and has TriCare for Life for being a retired US Military veteran, is he able to use it over there, or would he have to get something local? BTW I LOVE how you two love to cover the "juicy" topics, that really pique some people's interest and increase some people's desire to come live in the PI, and then jump in to a subject that seems to be cued to make us foreigners take pause before committing to live over there.
@RogerIsmiVlogs Жыл бұрын
Local would be great because you can use it to any hospitals in the Philippines
@williamsaltiel-gracianmph613 Жыл бұрын
That is a good question! If I were counting solely on TRICARE, I would remain prepared to fly out to Guam if the need to use it should arise.

Between 2000 to 2011 l stayed in d Philippines in out vry frequently but all in all a total of 7yrs during this time. On biz then. I have never had any issues with insurance der. Only once had bad UTI sought tremaent at National Kidney Institute,QC. Supposed to have d best specialist der. I only paid less than 10k. There r also many good private hosp n clinics. Unless u have frequent or big health issues, personally l dnt subscribe to that.

I’m thinking about moving to the Philippines 🇵🇭 in April or May of this year. I’m 38 and in fairly good health. Do I need to purchase health insurance after I move to the Philippines?

I have health insurance for the case, if I’m getting into an accident, or I get injured during swimming or surfing. It costs me 50$ a month and is temporarily for two years at the moment. Later on I will have maybe an international health insurance which will cost about 100-200$ a month.

what an option of leasing a land then build a house?
@jimdiamond8246 Жыл бұрын
Leasing is another alternative but still comes with its own legal problems .owning property is much safer for the sale of the property in the future.
