Roger, I just wanna say I greatly appreciate your honesty and integrity. There are plumbers out there that like to make a fast dollar and you are one of the few still making an honest dollar. You take a stand for doing the right thing 👏 🙌 💯

Around here, you spend the first year digging. Lots and lots of digging. And on top outs you’re drilling. You’re the Hole Hawg guy. Or pipe machine guy.

thats Funny, My very first day as an apprentice was running a 90 lb. Ingersol-rand jack hammer in a Wendy's parking lot! no plumbing problem, just work to do, so we did it! what a rough day that was back in June of1991! I will never forget it! great Video Roger!

I started in May of 91. Man, it was a hot one. Felt like summertime in the sun 60+ hours a week 😂

I remember over 40 years ago my first day on the job I was very disappointed when they handed me a shovel!

My first year working for my dad as a plumber's helper, I helped dig a trench for a water line, soldered copper pipe, helped replace a cast iron waste pipe, poured a lead joint and drilled holes under a house to run copper pipe.

Can you do a video on sewer cameras should you buy a 100ft or 300ft cable.

Holy cow Roger. $4.25 is what I started at in 1991. 1st week 68 hours in the sun laying 12" PVC water main with 3 fire hydrants. Got to $8 / hr in no time 😂

@@dylanhasson8187 Get a Logo on your work vehicle with your number on it. I got so many calls from people who saw my truck and called. Highest priority targets are builders and property managers. If you get a good gig with either, you’re set.

If u started 40 years ago, why did it take more than 20 years to get your license? I saw your license number on your vehicle, so I know you have been licensed for a little over 10 years

I would imagine that Roger got his journeymans license first and didnt get his master plumbers license until he went into business for himself since most jurisdiction's require a masters license to pull permits
@jd.garcia75554 ай бұрын
@@rowdynoe9595 that could be the case. I got my master license when I was still with a company. His license starts with 35 and mine starts with 36. It took me 7 years to become a master plumber here in Texas
