Hi Roger. Not only do you need to have the rails parallel with each other, they should also be parallel with the ball screw. Those ball end hex keys sure come in handy. Those motors sure are long. It looks strange to me that the motors are mounted with 2 piece spacers when the rest of the router is so robust designed.

Not much use having a fairly large powerful motor when it's just fixed in place with long thin screws and janky spacers. The motor will just twist mounted this way.

oooff.. been watching the build and loving the machine so far, considering getting it, but those spacers sure are JANKY. Potential for failure is huge unless I'm missing something that will prevent them from twisting off the spacers (?)
