usually this is a normal public road. It gets closed often during winter for snow, various times for landslides or rockslides and occasionally for fires.

I love these pads. They are the Clark Pad Titan Foam pads. I use them on every wheel. When I test, I bring my own set with me.

By the sound of it, Roger has a duck in his wheel. Almost as much fun watching Rogers videos as the ride was. Nice job! 35,000 acres have burned at this point. Lots of that area on the route is now ash. So sad. They really need bombers or more helicopters to fight these fires along with trying to get them as soon as possible. It seems like there was a delay in and around an hour to get helicopters there. Lightning was definingly the cause since when we stopped to take a picture there were 3 lightning strikes in the same area. Santa Ana conditions exacerbated the fire and or maybe also contributed to the lightning strikes. From Wikipedia "Because they are simultaneous "gusty" and "desiccating," the Santa Ana winds are highly associated with regional wildfire danger." Dozens of fires in recent disasters have been associated to that event. The Bobcat fire to which this is seeming comparable costs 100 million dollars.

Those vibrations are getting bad. I'll check it out later. Genetically engineered non-flammable pine trees. There were WAY more than 3 lighting strikes while we were there. Seemed to be every 15 seconds. Just didn't seem to produce the boom every time.

@@roghaj 48,000 acres now. Its exponentially moving. I was there when you were asked what your favorite ride was/is, and you said "GMR." So very sad our beautiful ride is now tainted and will be ugly for some time.
