For extra small wheels, it might be nice to have an optional padded accessory you can fasten on top of the wheel to extend its height for rider comfort while mounting.
@roghaj3 күн бұрын
I have seen people do this but I don't imagine it is going to be something the manufacturer is going to want to implement. Would be cool if it was something that folded up or had some other function.

Man I like the look of the Future a lot. I really want a tiny wheel to throw in a car and ride around parking lots and stuff. It seems like Begode is actually listening to the community about what we want in these wheels and thats really cool to see. I look forward to more content on this wheel

Very cool learner wheel. I'm looking for a new small wheel to replace my V8F, but I want something with a trolley handle so the mTen5 is probably the best at the moment.

In comparison with the InMotion V8S which also weighs 16.8kg but is a couple of 100 bucks more expensive: 375Wh vs 725Wh, 15" vs 16.2" outer tire diameter, 3.5" vs 2.125" tire width, 240mm vs 155mm body width. I like the narrower body of the V8S and the wider tire of the Begode Future, though 3" would seem already entirely sufficient. A battery capacity far below 500Wh is however a deal breaker to me, even for a beginner wheel, unless it is used for learning and/or teaching only.
@roghaj14 сағат бұрын
A V8 would beat this wheel in a few metrics, but the actual feel and off-road ability of this would perhaps make you think twice about what you want. The V8 is a modern classic for sure.
@monowheeling13 сағат бұрын
@@roghaj I'd be curious to see how it feels, for sure. The V8 has evolved quite a bit over time, I find the newest V8S to be already in a different league than the original V8. Personally, I want a lighter V8S with a wider tire, like 2.5-3", or, even better, a light and slim wheel fitting a 2.75-10 tire (which unfortunately does not even exist). I am not a sports rider. I am the I-don't-walk-anymore type of rider and carry my wheel up and down stairs quite often, not necessarily because I need to, but because I'd rather avoid elevators if I can. For me, the wheel has replaced walking and casual cycling altogether.

How does it compare to the mten5. What’s the weight of it also how many miles can it go cruising. Also how is these wheels are they save like batteries they are not gonna explode on me right?

This looks like what I wanted from the mini. A little less ankle-breaky, smaller and less powerful than the a2/mten5. Can it fit in a backpack with slim pads?
@roghajКүн бұрын
yeah, this is a much more user-friendly wheel. I don't think it will fit in a backpack unless you have a really big bag.

@Corn8Bit20 сағат бұрын
@roghaj Yeah $1380 is too high, it's a lot cheaper on ungerground (and price matched at nextgenmobility). I'm just salty this is $700 because it could have been an easy to recommend starter. Come on begode, keep the gateway drug wheels cheap to get people hooked.
