This is why I always digged the idea of Rebel Combine. The thought of all these Rebels with only one vest and an armband being the things protecting them from Annihilation on the field, just for a fully padded neon eyed Metrocop or Combine Soldier to storm in and fuck up the other Combine Soldiers. That’s the best thing they might’ve had since Freeman or maybe Calhoun.

The concept of rogue officers is interesting. Yet, this would either apply to officers that have no family or anything else to lose since the combine ensure loyalty by making sure no civil protection disobeys orders or go rogue by threatening to kill their family or some other shit (this is backed up by overwatch dialogue if an officer kills Freeman)

Amazing as always y'know for as advanced as the combine really is, you'd think they'd have a kill switch if one of the many metro police went rogue from constantly hurting civilians surprising how that's not how it ended up, really goes to show you how stupid the combine actually is.

The Combine have been shown to want to suppress these people as cheap as they can, while still remaining effective. Kill switches are another expensive piece of kit on an asset they can easily replace with the desperate masses.

Yeah but we tend to forget some Civil Protection units are loyal to the end or Overwatch ensures they stay loyal. This is backed up by Overwatch stating an officer's family stays alive if he kills Freeman.

Hey I like your videos a lot also just to let you know there is this Addon called model Manipulator it’s a very cool addon wlitch allows models to switch and one thing I notice with it is that if you stack a model with out glowing eyes onto one with glowing eyes the glowing eyes show. Also for the combine elite if you stack it With the 1.3 version The eye think matches perfectly and last of all if you kill a combine there eye glow effect disappear

I completely misinterpreted the beginning sequence. When it alternated between him shooting the civilians to him sitting in the chair with his arms crossed like that, I thought it was meant to show he had no regrets about what he'd done. But then he starts fighting for the rebels so I guess I got it all wrong, lol.
