Rogue River, Oregon | 4k Driving Tour | Dashcam

The Rogue River in southwestern Oregon in the United States flows about 215 miles in a generally westward direction from the Cascade Range to the Pacific Ocean. Known for its salmon runs, whitewater rafting, and rugged scenery, it was one of the original eight rivers named in the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1968.

Grew up there in the 40's to the 60's...Drove everywhere you went in my old '47 Ford...

The town must have been incredibly small back then. Wouldn't mind cruising that area in your old Ford, it looks absolutely beautiful there.

I grew up in GP and haunted Roug river and Gold Hill. The last time I was down there there were wild fires going also, so smokey you could hardly breath. Thanks for the tour, I am planning on a motorbike trip down there this summer, hope to stay at Indian mary Park.

Was originally named Tailholt due to holding of horse tails to help cross the river before the original bridge was built.

Great town, but very underfunded schools… one of the worst in the state.

@@huntervacura7730 If I may butt in? I also grew up in GP, graduated from GPHS in 73. Would lover to move back there some day, maybe around Merlin or Hugo.
