7:43:40 yes and no, there are essentially 2 types of warrants of trade: the ones originally signed and sealed by the emperor with a drop of his blood, those warrants are HEREDITARY meaning if the person holding the warrant dies, the first heir gets that warrant OR the person holding the warrant has set a specific heir to receive the warrant before they died after the emperor... definitly didnt die... the lesser warrants of trade came around, they still hold much of the same powers however they are no longer hereditary, they are also subject to alot more politicing than the original ones, maybe youre a highranking officer and one of your fellow officers REALLY doesnt like you but he also cant get rid of you directly, so he pulls some connection and badaboom you now have the "Honor" of receiving a warrant of trade... declining is not an option since in this game we are talking about heirs and all that, this is an OOOOOLD rogue trader house with a hereditary warrant (havent watched the full vod/stream yet but the warrant of trade is actually an asset in the game, its MASSIVE, probably the size of a tennis court if not more 8:08:25 through games you dont really see it but everyone is competing with ALOT of people, essentially the imperiums mentality is: competition makes people strong or dead and we have PLENTY of people who wont be missed when they die... as such thor is correct in saying that all out wars waste resources so 99% of competition is done sneakily and underhandidly, poison, bribery, blackmail etc, there are instances of fully loyal servants of the imperium waging war on other equally loyal servants on the imperium but those instances are rare 9:10:10 sisters of battle are very much the female counterpart of spacemarines they are also the giant middlefinger of the church of the emperor after several radical priests did shenanigans, the church was forbidden from having "men under arms" so NATURALLY they adopted a group of over zealous muscle nun's with power armor into their ranks, also despite them being nuns they dont take a vow of celibacy which is the reason im QUITE ANGRY that argenta is not a possible romance partner in rouge trader...
