I've watched competitive SC2 for what seems like a decade now. I can confidently say game 4 is the absolute best match I've ever seen. Watching this whole tournament live was something very special indeed. You will not find another game in SC2 history pre-2018 where both competitors plays were near perfect. Yes, you may find a hectic game, but they're full of mistakes. Serral and Rogue attacked and defended amazingly well. Their performance was high level and never dropped for THIRTY MINUTES!

While his series against stats was the best sc2 series I have ever seen, the single best match I have seen was the final game of this series. This may be only my second favorite, but it was the most amazing ZvZ I have ever seen. This year had so many amazing games, many with serral in them. Raynor. Has. *All* the times he faced Lambo. This game vs rogue. The grand finals. I can go on for quite awhile talking about this year.

Thegame .Dev and the thing is... that approach worked! In I believe it was Montreal (or Valencia not sure) Lambo made it to the ace match. Although I dont believe for a second that’s correct. I do think lambo breaks out the weirdness vs serral, but its not just ‘lets try this’ its ‘this is made to throw him off’ Take his series VS maru for example. He may have lost 2-0 because of the simply massive skill gap, but both games he had maru read like a book. He knew what was coming and when, maru just played it too well for him to counter it. Let lambo improve his micro or learn to be like has and not need it, and he will be up there in the finals.

Serral just picked him apart... it was so nice to watch live. My heart was pumping! I loved the part at 8:49 when we switched to Serral's first person view. Most pros are impressive, but that was just something else. His control is out of this world.

Top quality play. The fourth game was insane. It was kind of enjoyable to see Rouge's steamroller tactics fall short against Serral's efficiency. On the other hand, it is sad to see someone lose in a gamestyle where he thought he was unbeatable. Just how far the resources lost tabs were in the end, I wonder? It seemed Rouge never faced an opponent like this. When he tried to throw the finishing blows, he failed again and again. He tought he could afford it, because he mined so much before, but now the opponent had plenty of resources in reserve. Serral will wear you down on the long run, no matter what you do. His face looked so drained in the end. He was clearly bested, but there is no shame in it, he played very well.

Remember that Serral was only the 3rd best foreign player in 2017 behind Neeb and Elazer but Elazer fell off a bit in 2018, Neeb remained about the same and Serral blew up to a god level.

If I had to compare Serral to any Korean zerg I'd say he's Rogue but more consistent and just stronger (Idk about experience but to me, it seems Serral is just a better version of Rogue)

In the last game, Rogue held the top left base for a long time but he never mined a single gas from it. He was going broke on gas at the end of the game and that's what ended up being his downfall was in lack of gas. Why he didn't see that coming and why he didn't take into account how cost efficient Serral could be, I don't know. He had a ton of minerals, he should have been mining gas like crazy, especially considering how many workers he had and how much he desperately needed gas to win the game!

You could get it if you build a building with a drone, then it loses it's supply count. When you train another unit in the mean time and cancel the building later, you get the 201/200. Players also use this as a trick to get 15/14 in the early stages of the map sometimes. They call it the extractor trick.

The places will definitely change between games due to the nature of the game. There's some advantage to the map orientation for super high level players. The colors should stay the same between games until you are going into the player's view where they MAY be different
