I'm most curious if this is a leftover from a long time ago, or maybe it's actually something that's being worked on and we'll get it someday... There's also the issue that the devs simply didn't want to inform players that something is planned for the obvious reason, there's no point in announcing something that will be in a year and in the meantime they'd rather focus players' attention on what's much closer, seasons 2.0 and Brooklyn DLC and then... then they can make a new roadmap and reveal something like they did in 2023. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that this is real and the wait will be worth it!

IF this is a new incursion and IF it is actually coming out, I don’t expect it to release in the near future. Your guess of June 2025 would be the most likely. To add onto this, I know that they said they were not planning a new incursion in that 3 month old article, but how and why would references to a scrapped concept stay in a PTS that would release 3 months after their statement? I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I seriously seriously want an other incursion

I feel like it wouldn’t make sense to lie about not including a new incursion if they were gonna add one. I feel like they would want the hype and excitement more than a surprise and I am doubtful they created a new incursion so quickly; so I am thinking it’s likely to be cut content that never made it live and likely still won’t, at least for now.

Unfortunately, I'm leaning more into the idea that it's cut content. If it's not coming until at least mid-next year I don't see why there'd be references (i.e: comms/leaderboards) to it in the coming season. If it is going to be an actual thing though, it'd be awesome if we had to stop Nat/the Cabal from using Wallops Island to launch a nuke or something. Maybe have it somehow tie into the Nuclear Football.

Willing to bet they planned on the new incursion to only be accessable to the seasonal characters but they where in the middle of a PR nightmare and knew that by saying that would just fuel the fire more. I mean, think about it, they said a part of the reason for seasonal characters was to make it easier to make more challenging content. Regardless, I really hope this indicates a new incursion is on its way.

In case this becomes true, this time I hope they make use of the new area for two purposes: - the incursion mode - and for story missions .., to suit a wider player base. I played all incursions in D1 and the one in D2 and I do not like to play any of them. They should stop focussing on fraction of the playerbase.

Assuming it's not going to be an Incursion, maybe they had plans on making it one initially. These may be residual atrifacts of cut content that maybe we'll see as an excursion in the DLC, like Coney Island or Camp White Oak.

why the fcuk are they nerfing the Obliterate ?! Why??! it took them Years to fix/change the stupid 5-second timer to 10-second, so you can actually can use the damn buff you build up... that lasted like 6 months! no they're nerfing the talent buff by 33% ?! from %25 to %17?! why?! seriously, why?! I'm simply retiring Obliterate all together if this is not reversed by the time updates arrive.
