Very nice summary. I completed the main story 3 years ago and now coming back to the game and this was a nice catch up on the available activities. Now I feel stupid getting rid of lot of the items I didn't know I need. But now I am farming Underground and HVTs. Also the last weekly HVT mission gave me classified items.

Any new players watching this, I would tell you, 1 - The Division is absolutely worth diving into, it's so fun and so packed with awesome stuff to do and the story is an awesome experience that will stick with you; and 2 - the DLCs are absolutely worth the purchase. Underground is my favorite, but Survival is beloved by the entire Division community and still gets regular play, more so than any other part of the game as far as I know.

Great that you shouted out @LividFray - I’m new to the game and her content really helped push me to do solo legendary missions, a feat I didn’t think I could pull off. She’s fantastic for fans of the game. A couple things I’d add: the only really “guaranteed” way to get Classified Gear pieces is to purchase the randomized classified crate in the Terminal, basically the subway tunnel underneath the B.O.O. It’s 2500 Phoenix credits, but those aren’t too hard to farm. It is frustrating trying to collect these pieces and have a matching set you actually want, without the Global Events. But Resistance (DLC) is another good option if you like horde modes of play (like CoD zombies). The odds of collecting a piece you need is much less than 1/100, probably closer to 1/1000 and that’s not exaggerating. Just be ready for the RNG headaches to halt your progress in the endgame

I was about a year behind getting into Division since I didn't yet own a ps4, but was ready with my used disc once I upgraded. I've not been as devoted as I once was, however still make regular Survival runs to this day. Just yesterday I made the tough call to ice an agent's progress in order to start over. It's still one of the best immersive experiences I've enjoyed. I can't wait to return to Brooklyn where it all began and see where they take us next.

A point to make regarding the dark zone in Division 1. While most pvp happens near checkpoints like what Rogue said, DO NOT, and I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT, take it at face value. There are players who are roamers for pvp and will jump you the moment you run into them so keep your head on a tight swivel while you farm in the DZ. If you see a player with no nameplate coming towards you, chances are that they are running the concealment scanner pulse (the equivalent to the decoy in division 2) and are looking for a fight. So, book it the other way immediately. Also, during the extraction phase, wait till the timer hits 15 to 10 seconds before hooking your loot to maximize the chance of you getting it. Also, if you see anyone placing down a healer box during the extraction phase, that is usually the sign of them wanting to fight and/or cut the rope. All in all, in the DZ, be it in Division 1 or 2, always remember the golden rule: Trust no one. P.s. Rogue, if you want to, create a video on the strategy you use for resistance. Like where is the best place to go to on each resistance map to maximize the chance of survival, and what builds are best for the game mode for solo play and group-play.

I can feel another Div1 re-play coming on. This is fantastic. When I first played Div1 (which I loved), I was stubbornly solo and totally unfamiliar with looter shooters. I was basically overwhelmed by the builds and MP content, and played it like an SP open world game. The endgame and so much of what I now love about Div2 was just a hazy cloud of “not for me” in Div1. I’m excited to go back to it with a fuller understanding, and this guide, to help me experience it more fully.

i always like to come back to this game and play through the story mode. on a side note, you cant 'target' farm classified gear anymore since Ubisoft stopped the global event of division 1. might be important to some people.....i usually stopped my playthrough once i reached WT 5 and had 2-3 complete builds. now with that option gone, i can finally put the game down :) /e: oh, you did mention this :D i posted the comment before watching the video.

SUPER helpful. Turns out I've played way more Div2 than Div1 and switching back is a struggle, but the gameplay is still great. Feeling lost on the gear and levels - maybe it's time to start a new toon and just re-learn it all from scratch.

I never played the Division until a few months ago. And frankly, it’s way better than the recent shooters that have out in the past few years. The world feels full, in a good way. Granted, the weapons at the start are a little funky without high-end stats, but I’m enjoying the pace of the progression elements. Definitely feels like the game can become one’s own unique experience.

10:10 - I still feel the easiest fix/solution to the GE problem is a fire and forget one: Put them on a fixed time and rotation that runs by itself. Example 1 week GE, 3 weeks off. Rotate through the 6 existing types and start from the beginning again.

I played for the first time about 6 months ago and loved it until I met *_THE FINAL BOSS: RNGzus_* who guards the Classified Sets you really want with unholy hatred. So I deleted the character and all his gear and stopped playing. Now I’m back and forgot everything 😂 Glad to find this resource for the end game, grinding out that gear score atm. Thanks 🙏

As an aside keep an eye on vendors for gear items. Specifically mags, attachements, and optics. Don't have set values like we do for the Division 2. Crafting is kind of a waste, save those to convert to high end later to use for upping gear/weapon stats.

The inclusion of classified gear sets and rogue toggle ruined the darkzone for me I much preferred the chaos that anyone even accidentally could go rogue which made it so much fun. I stayed away from the darkzone in div2 for that very reason

Gone back to The Division. 1 Out of wanting to and 2. The final straw was a Bug that kept crashing The Division 2 (PS5) had 16 builds and everytime i wanted to use the 16th my game crashed and crashed, so cleaned the disc deleted the game and reinstalled it (problem is it won't install the 44 gig part and keeps erroring out) 2 days now and it won't install. So installed The Division and it works perfectly now back enjoying that game (with my original Char and starting a new one.)

Man Div 1 was amazing, I remember being able to twink out the lower dark zone bracket by joining higher end level players raids and letting them kill the boss which didn’t give us experience but we got the loot…low level epics and legendaries

To be fully honest with you I don't recall what mission/content has or is the Courier Intercept, apologies! For DZ builds, full Classified loadouts are a must. Statistically better than any other option. Popular picks include Striker, Predator's Mark, Nomad, or Banshee 👍

I don't know the real reason behind all this procrastination from Ubisoft to cancel the events or decide not to return them to the game is just events that make old and new players happy nothing more

I only recommend starting with Division 1 if you care about story and lore in games- it's worth seeing that continuity between 1 and 2. Otherwise, if you're looking for the more polished and regularly updated Looter Shooter experience, Division 2 is the way to go.

I just have no clue how to make the next jump up in power :/ I'm world tier 5 have a striker 4 piece and can't find any decent other 2 pieces that don't tank my stats to the point of the 2 bonus being worth it. Hard is pretty much always a win but challenging is pretty challenging and legendary is so amazingly impossible that I can't even fathom how the hell to do it in the slightest. 323k with my G36 512k toughness only 84k skill. 100% solo. Is this just all there is to do? I can't figure out how to reliably get anything classified to advance or how to improve.
