Year late but if anyone else is like me and found it in the future I’ll add my comments 5:27 the first few are mostly scripted till you get [REDACTED] From there you can play with variables or use a feature that gives pre sets more likely to have new events. 12:42 I’ll also mention different characters have different stats, one is bad at lying another has jacked stealth ect.

Gods, this game reminds me of the Zero Escape series in like the best way possible. Stats only affect your chances for actions to work, spotting/saying lies and you being targeted for freeze/erasure. But good werewolf strategy is key throughout. If you find a lying Gnosia, how do you expose it, cuz if you go outright they’ll target you! Other character’s stats are taken into consideration. Comet’s good at finding lies, so as a crew mate she’ll be invaluable. If you’re against her as gnosia, you’ll have a hard time pulling the wool over the crew mates eyes

"Werewolf roguelite" I forgot Werewolf was a Mafia style game and I had a very legitimate moment of wondering if the girl on screen was secretly a werewolf. Talk about a plot twist

My logic on first game: Both Setsu and SQ were vying for our vote, so we should suspect both equally to start with. I noted that SQ tried to get the voting underway quickly, so she was a bit more suspicious. What sends her over the edge is the end of the warp. Setsu goes to check that we are ok, because she needs us, someone she can trust/get a vote out of. BUT then why didn't SQ go too? Because she didn't have to be worried, because she knew we would be alive. Because she knew who would die as Gnosia. Second game: The Gnosia have no way of knowing who the engineer is. They wouldn't do something as ballsy as calling LeVi to confirm their identity like that, right? And Raqio isn't even responding. She was the one who first accused SQ too. There is nothing that can be said, Raqio is the obvious choice. The cards just fell wrong... Or its scripted to be lost. Third game: Setsu was alive and SQ threw slight doubt her way. Raqio just went ballistic and threw doubt on SQ and even voted on her. Then SQ dies. This is a clear indication that Raqio and Setsu should be partners, but they aren't so publicly. They are the Gnosia. A similar thing happened with Shigemichi, where he was oddly buddy-buddy with Setsu immediately. I just concluded he was a dumbass because Raqio was more suspicious. Perhaps voting out Setsu there would have been better since she was the point of intersection. Fourth game: Setsu claimed our role and Stella claimed GA. There is the possibility that Stella is a Gnosia and decided to not attack during the warp, but it'll at least keep us alive. We know Raqio is human, and Setsu said that SQ is human. I think Setsu is a solid player, so she would say the truth there to convince SQ at least. That means the remaining player who is unconfirmed by any party, Gina, is the other Gnosia with Setsu. hey, 2/4 isn't bad to begin with. On my part, that is.

the interesting thing is that I did a second run up to this point off camera, and it played out _completely_ differently. So that is incredibly telling about how good the roguelite runs are is that they _felt_ scripted but weren't.

This game is a lot of fun. There are a LOT of details you can pick up on to determine what role each person has and every character is unique. My one problem with this game is the very end-game. I won’t go into detail, but I ended up having to do multiple runs in order to get certain bits of progression.

I'm facing an excrutiating dilemma right now. The problem is, this is a single-player story-driven game. I want to know the story, which means I would want this series to continue. On the other hand, I want to save myself from spoilers because I'm almost certainly grabbing this in the near future. So what do I do? Upon playing a second run I can confirm everything but the 1st run with Setsu and SQ was fully random and not scripted. (The moments where the game informs you of a new mechanic or role are scripted, but the character who has the role is not guaranteed to be, or not be, that role)

Wow that a first, I voted for SQ on loop 1 thinking Setsu is your Tutorial partner and SQ tried to hard. Also Loop 1 isn't Random Raqio always get voted out Gina always get eliminated and SQ is always Gnosia. There was one moment where during the first vote in Loop 1 had I vote for SQ and not Raqio (Gina and Raqio voted for SQ) SQ might have been voted out. Which would be weird though I think in this case the Game AI check your vote to make sure Raqio get voted for Cold Sleep. Also never seen that scene with Setsu being in Cold Sleep. Loop 2 Gina will always claim engineer and find the supposed Gnosia but if she telling the truth or lying is random. For me ,my 2nd Loop SQ was the Gnosia again and Gina was the Engineer telling the truth for my Brother Setsu was the Engineer eliminated and Gina accuse SQ of Gnosia while SQ did nothing to defend herself. Also your lucky for the first 4 loops you have Plot Armor the song you heard during voting with Setsu and SQ while your Engineer is called Ice Prison when this song plays you are almost 100% going to be voted out for Cold Sleep.
