Datsun pickups were the first I had ever seen modified into a “low rider” in southern Cali early 1980’s. I remember how damn cool it looked…and then the vw’s and Toyota’s came next. Slow and low was a whole other scene in the auto show world to me. I was a lifted 4x4 guy myself. But they were all beautiful to me. Reminded me of the 60’s el camino’s with the Chevelle motor!

Very nice Frontiers lout there, but hands down to Nisstec. Not over accessorized, and liked the truck had protection. I’ve had my Hefty skids for over 12 years and they are still doing amazing. I wasn’t a fan the deck system but then again, it’s just not for me. I like my bed since that’s where I have my spare tire. Let’s hope to see more next year.

The Brazilian model Frontier has a coil sprung 5-link rear from the factory! I had a 2022 Nissan Frontier Attack for three weeks. Drove over 1600 miles, a third of that was on back country roads. What a truck! The 3.2 liter Turbo Diesel averaged 34mpg on the highway and 28-29 on dirt road with 4-High. Few things I would change are the factory shocks for some Bilstein and slightly bigger tires on factory 16'' wheels. Either way.. the Frontier ate up the washboard dirt surface like cake. What a TRUCK! I am shocked to see the leaf sprung rears on the US model?

Nice it’s running a Titan engine. So it has more power for its compact size. I’m curious if that increases it’s payload??
@RogueOverland2 жыл бұрын
Not 100% sure. Isn’t payload based on the suspension and frame strength?…. If so then more power output by the engine wouldn’t increase payload.
@cdubbrider37402 жыл бұрын
@@RogueOverland oh ok. That does make sense. Thx I actually didn’t kno that tho
@runningwithspoons92232 жыл бұрын
Why the hell would it increase payload? Payload is a function of weight, not power dummy. A heavier engine would reduce payload equal to the weight difference. This is basic truck 101

You think $20,000 for a V8? Chevy charges like $2,000 to upgrade to the V8 on the trucks that have multiple engines available. I wouldn't expect it to be $2,000, but $20,000 seems like a stretch unless they were going to try to make it one of those trucks off duty public servants drive on weekends when they aren't driving the peoples' vehicles. (I swear all the cops in my parents neighborhood have Raptors parked next to their cruisers lol)
