This is really great and all and I'm happy as an Outlaw main to see these changes, but with vanish/stealth mechanics being mandatory for Between the eyes and utilizing its damage to the fullest, it still makes it dicey to play in certain solo content. Even in delves with Brann, I've had vanish reset the aggro of bosses, resulting in most of my important cd's being wasted and in some cases of soloing overworld bosses, my death. Call it a skill issue maybe; regardless, any amount of latency drastically influences the timing aspect of this. Blizzard could address this by adding a small shadow clone or some sort of placeholder dummy to retain target aggro for 2-3 seconds while you weave back into BtE. This would be in line with rogue fantasy and absolutely remove the problem in its entirety.

I'm glad slice and dice is leaving the opener, it never felt guide to hit a 0 damage finisher during our big burst

Yeah I picked up rogue because of the warband exp. and I am not a s+tier rogue player, but it felt bad to forget to snd or having to use it to get the attack speed :(

no point for it to exist anymore like this as dal says. it was passive before just make it completely passive again. snd is def up there in worst feeling buttons to press in the game. no idea why they brought it back at all really

They should straight up make it passive, FF14 did it recently for Ninjas which had a similar ability and it feels so much better

It was a passive at some point? That actually seems like something they should do for a bunch of rogues active abilities. That or merge them with the similar ones. I just returned after playing in release/tbc, and rogues feel like they went don't a very curious path while I've been gone. ​But making SnD passive definitely seems like one of the more reasonable changes. @@tdrai4648

I'm still waiting for them to let us wield offhand pistols... Class fantasy wise for outlaw I think would be fantastic but I understand that's a lot of work to add in that many items

I'm waiting for them to make it so, first of all, Daggers can be transmoggable into 1H weapons. And then add glyphs for Pistol Shot & Between The Eyes to make them look like you're throwing a dagger, shuriken, or your currently equipped off-hand weapon. I wanna play Outlaw without being forced to use a gun. Ruins the fantasy aspect for like all of my tmogs.

Why would Coup De Grace even ship with an animation lock in the game? For the single fastest, most frenetic spec in the games That was such a stupid decision for Blizzard. I am going hard on tank/healer this season but maybe I will level my Rogue now

This is a huge nerf to Sub PvP. The CD reduction is what made them able to survive and get CC+kills

Nearly all of the quality of life improvments I thought for rogues. Just except having automatic thistle tea and 2 stack envenoms are strange. Lets see I cannot wait for the rework to go live.

Even if these changes dont all make it out, the intent is shown very well. Such as the thistle tea change. It has been a cluncky GCD its whole existence. Now its shining ✨️

I don't like the 12 seconds change for assassination because now it's another thing to keep track of to refresh garrote at the last second, as if we didn't have enough little things to track rogues are dead, there are almost more evokers than rogues now, our little moments of happiness are when blizzard announces small changes that we are asking for years

I think sub trickster is going to be very strong then. Going to miss the 1.7m echoing reprimand though. I'm still worried about Outlaw in PvP. Seems like its lack luster dmg is getting nerfed.

Im looking forward to a mild outlaw rework. Mainly focusing on APM reduction. During raid prog im doing about double the APM of the next DPS, thats a little ridiculous i must say. Currently averaging 120CPM, bring it down to about 100 and im chilling.

The class literally had a rework 6 months ago. If you are talking about completely changing the spec, they aren't doing that with ANY class. They do not want to completely change classes and have said so many, many times.

Assassin rogue being good damage wise does not mean the class as a whole isnt horrid. Its clunky, buggy, feels bad to play, and assassin isnt even the best

Aldriana and company fought so hard to get rogues away from passive damage and Blizzard just ended up putting it right back on passive again. Anyway, I say absolutely NOT to getting rid of slice and dice. They can just make it a passive and then hopefully tune it into oblivion but it should always be there as it's "iconic". Keep the iconic shit because people will complain; just make it passive and irrelevant.
