You did such a great job telling the story of this battrep instead of just recording the entire game. Often on YT people don’t take time to edit but it makes such a huge difference in the quality of content. We don’t all have an hour to watch a full video. If you keep producing stuff like this you’ll do really well!

Rohan is a really rough battle company to play in the beginning. Until you get some horses they have low numbers, are very fragile, and don’t hit that hard. Looking forward to seeing more games!

Thanks! Yeah the points were more expensive for +1 to shoot than the Orcs and they got 7 vs 9. Didn’t make much sense to us

Yep - I'm going to bring in a few more factions as well. It's low model count, easily played in an hour and it is LotR based. Wins all around.

Editing is incredible! Dice in the lower corner while adding details and story to the fight is perfect. Shame Rohan let down by some key rolls :( Also where is the gaming mat from?

Thanks, friend! I watched the movies first but have since read the books. I didn't become upset until The Hobbit series because it was a pretty big departure from the book. I often watch Nerd of the Rings which is an awesome channel for lore. Definitely not an expert though!

It's a 3d print from Ulvheim on Thingiverse. I've already got the next game planned. The Orcs continue towards Mordor but the two surviving Rohan make it to their horses. Riding Southeast they find a Gondor patrol and alert them to the Orc threat. So Gondor is next, Rangers I think, Isengard, Dwarves! I'm pretty excited right now, lol.

​@@MiniatureGameMontage It's a wargame about root vegetable-obsessed apocalypse survivors in the dreary future wielding swords and black powder. Very kitbash-friendly and very silly. The channel Bruva Alfabusa has a particularly wacky Battle Report about it. Highly entertaining.
