If you choose to live a life in delusion then good luck. Nobody is stopping you to be the superman of your own planet Krypton. BUT the guy didn't even show a slightest bit of discomfort when he took all the credit for himself. Didn't even mention his own friends. As someone who saw Astha Tamang Maskey as a young woman entering the Kathmandu music scene, I was happy to see many different people supporting her creativity, and she has never once failed to show her gratitude. She is who she is because of her hard work and the people who appreciated her hard work, courage and enthusiasm. So many young girls look up to female artists like her as inspiration. The podcaster's attempt to insinuate that "Sabai thikai hunchha" is in fact solely Shakya's "creation" is a mirror (and a sad reminder) of the male egocentric society we still live in.

Why dont we think it this way, everyone who heard the song back in 2009 / 10 or ever after that, all merely credited Astha Maskey as she was the artist to sing and be in the video. For instance, I never knew the man behind the music at all. I dont think he was trying to take all the credits, since the topic itself came after the host said "Astha".... Perhaps the song already inherits an alias for Astha Maskey and need no mention of her name on it to make people discover she is also the part in it. Being that said, he could have mentioned about the time and experience with her but I dont think his intention was not to mention her or sm like that.

Rohit is a legend. No doubt about that! But you, being the host, should've done a bit of research before you made such blatant statements. Maybe you misspoke, for it was a long time ago that you got that CD, but credit and apology must be given where it's due. And I didn't see any apology in the comment that you put out on Astha's statement.
