I agree, currently on a rooted cherish os A13 build, with o.f recovery, its definitly the best, better than twrcrap as it support A13 decryption, and no need to do anything to make the decryption work, you flash o.f and it works directly. And superb video, as alway rohit.

Hello, I am having issues. I am a total newbie to custom rom's. I am trying to flash the orange fox recovery on a Redmi Note 11 Pro +, but I keep getting the message, This partition doesn't exist. It sends the recovery, but then fails. I also try to fastboot boot the recovery file, but now it says that status read fail it got too many links. I have unlocked the bootloader, usb debugging and all the developer stuff. I am a bit a scared as I tried the fastboot flash boot_a recovery.img and now the phone just keeps rebooting all the time and it doesn't even show the MIUI setup page. I am really lost, what should I do to fix it?

Hi, i tried flashing this custom recovery on my redmi note 10, but after getting to the orangefox recovery screen im unable to reboot my phone to system, or even turn it off, i can navigate the menus but i cant go further from there, and it says my phone doesnt have a ROM for some reason tried formating my phone but im still stuck on it.

Bro I don't have any password or fingerprint setup. Still I can't access my internal storage. OrangeFox is installed flawlessly but data is encrypted. If I go to Decrypt data, it asks for my PIN, but I have not PIN or password setup. Can you help me with this? Edit: Idk what happened, but TWRP worked perfectly. Maybe I there a problem when I installed OrangeFox.

Hi Rohit, I admire your videos a lot, from unlocking bootloader to installing a custom rom and dirty flashing. Learnt everything from here. Just one question - I installed A13 - project elixir on Redmi note 10 pro v3.0. These guys later released v3.1. I updated but realised that 3.0. was better. Why does this happen? Also, please try out 3.0 update of project elixir. It is the fastest and most fluid rom ive ever tested.

Are you still using the PixelOS July 2022 build? If yes I will daily drive it. I was using Project elixir 2.1 and everything was fine for a couple days but then I ended up with random reboots. Every couple minutes too.

nope, sweet has a different way of partitioning recovery and fastboot, do not attempt to use this method on redmi note 10 you could end up with a soft brick or in the worst case a hard brick.

Android 13 is still in it's early stages and full of problems/bugs having been released only 2 months ago (it's stable beta release was in June 2022 and it only officially rolled out on August 2022). Many custom recovery modes and modules don't even fully support android 12 so I think it will be a long time before being worth to install

@Pratik PixelOS is one of the smoothest I've tried so far but A13 doesn't have the anx camera as yet so I wouldn't recommend any A13 ROMs at the moment not even PixelOS. And I didn't like customisations until I used Project Elixir. The rom is awesome too. I'm on MIUI until I go back to the store to get my charger changed then it's back to PixelOS or project Elixir A12 version though.
