Usually peeps visit kodai in the summer to beat hot weather. So, It’s really crowded. It seems you guys spent most of the time in finding a restaurants. You guys missed many great places… It’s highly recommended to have a personal vehicle for kodaikanal.

I think you have not explored much in kodai, there is a hidden Lake inside the forest for which you have to get forest officer approval to get in. Trust me it is worthy.
