I wish “someone” would review all the Hada Labo products 😉 they are affordable and I have a good feeling about them.

Love this one, one of the few vitamin C's where I noticed a difference in pigmentation. I can vouch, the packaging keeps it fresh for a long time.

The packaging is so wonderful for this one- I wish all vitamin c products would come packaged like this because it definitely prolongs the oxidization of it.

I really like the Timeless Vitamin C. I started with the Klairs 5%, went to Timeless 10% for one bottle, then moved to the 20% just a couple weeks ago. I haven't seen any big difference yet, but my skin is tolerating it very well. Thank you for another great video! 💖💖💖

I love this one! Preferred it over the Ordinary's Ascorbic with Alpha Arbutin (which felt really heavy and kinda tingly sometimes). Had this for almost 6 months or so and is still very effective and hasn't oxidized. I don't really mind the scent, and it absorbs really quick. 😊❤️

They have a revised version from 2021and a premium version. I like this one since it is a way for me to have Vit C in a low concentrate. My sensitive skin prefers low and slow. Some have said to use this before toner... I use it after as my serum step. Cheers!

Hi Sarah I have thought about trying this one on and off, but truthfully I've pretty much given up on vitamin c. My rosacea hates the low ph of the water based ones and the oil or water free formulations turn my skin orange (on my ultra pale skin looks like a very bad self tan lol - oompa loompa or tangoed come to mind). The derivatives don't seem to do much for me, so that's a pass also. There are other ingredients that do work for me - retinoids for collagen stimulation plus azelaic acid with both licorice and niacinamide for brightening/pigment correction. Antioxidants are a category I can use a lot of different ingredients without issues eg green tea (EGCG), other vitamins, centella etc etc etc. For me it's not an essential and it's so problematic I've given up trying to make it work - wasting money on products that just don't work for me. I know this one is super popular and lasts much longer than many others, but it probably wouldn't work either and I'm not desperate to find out. I might have a go in the Summer, but for right now it's not on my radar. Best wishes.

Oh gosh I have same result with my rosacea it always gets irritated, not matter what brand, thought of this one as my last try for vit C…. So nop, I will skip haha

I bought it because of GOOD REVIEWS even tho I have no idea what the Japanese packaging is and what it will do on my skin (given the fact that I have sensitive skin) hehe love it so far!
@ayumisakaguchi3624 Жыл бұрын
I think the packaging is awesome. Droppers are so bad at protecting the vitamin C (ascorbic acid). It’s more expensive in the US but in Japan it’s super affordable! I’d say it is a good product!

Tbh when I was thinking of getting this VitC I was a bit put-off by the fact that i couldnt find the concentration of L-AA anywhere. Which made me think it would be so low that it was negligeable. Anyways, I still got it and it surprised me that it made my skim "feel warm" when i started using this. I usually get that reaction with stronger VitC products, so for me it served as some anecdotal evidence that it does contain an effective amount of L-AA, I guess lol

I used to use this and I liked it. When I ran out I bought Timeless and it worked better.

This also contains THD ascorbate which is oil soluble. I think this is still a functioning vitamin c as it’s not in a water based solution so it’s an anhydrous solution which is still able to penetrate the skin. I do wish we knew the % but I think anecdotally this does work and should be near 5%
@philippillis93932 жыл бұрын
I actually love this product, it lasts for eternity, it's cheap, it doesn't smell foul, it looks nice and it's gentle. I think it has 8 percent ascorbic acid but not sure about this info. There's a new more potent version with a form of vitamin b6 which apparently is very good for the skin plus even more vitamin c derivatives.

I’ve been using the level serum and vitamin c serum per your recommendation and am surprised I like them because I heard they were watery and messy, but that hasn’t been my experience so far. I like the texture of both products and don’t find them drying, so hopefully with continuous use I get a nice glow, too.

Just started using the premium version of the Melano Vit C past few days. I like it, but doesn't match up to the Geek and Gorgeous Vit C in the slightest in terms of feel and known percentage. I find it has a bit of a slip to it at first, but sinks in fine after a few mins and layers well. I'll finish it cause the packaging is so cool 🤩. Given it lasts long I may buy another G&G and alternate! 😜🍊🍊 xx

I heard it was 5% but not 💯% on that I heard some Japanese and Korean utubers talk about it, they said it's great for dark spots like after a breakout but not great for like dark spots hyperpigmentation from the sun and anti-aging good for like a teen early 20s is what they recommend but I have not tried it yet.

Which vitamin c serums have the right ph and verified 1% vitamin e/tocopherol and .5% ferulic acid?

Thank you for mentioning it's not cruelty-free. I was considering it, but now I can scratch it off my list. I was on the fence with the citrus and fragrance anyway. Just as well.

Sarah, what are the chances ?! 🙌🏼🤗 I have bought this last year and only last week I’ve started using it. As if you knew I wanted your opinion and did this video 😉🤩. For me it works as it doesn’t seem to be too strong ( have used Timeless Vit C 2 years ago and it really irritated my skin ). I don’t mind the slight oil consistency and it goes well my my toners and serums. I only use 3 drops, one for each check and forehead, only on my melasma spots. I took out Niod Re:pigment from the morning routine not to use it with CC Melano … Thanks for the review 🙌🏼

We are on the same wavelength again, hehe! I think you are probably right- this isn't super strong and that is probably also why they don't want to release the percentage of vitamin c in it. I do love the packaging for this and wish more brands would try something like this- it seems to stay fresh so long!
@DRVenard2 жыл бұрын
It says to put it on after toner! Would that lower the PH enough to be effective? Just curious 🤔 I don't think I'll purchase on account of unknown %🥴
@NOBSBeauty2 жыл бұрын
I really wish they would publish the percentage - especially with the pH issue, it would be nice to know. I wish all brands were more transparent about their ingredients, makes using it and supporting them much more enjoyable.

I did not like this one, it felt too oily for my oily skin. I had same thought as you have about the packaging. That is the only thing I really liked about this product. It comes drop by drop when squeezing the tube so it is very easy to measure the amounts. And it indeed stays fresh for a veeryy looong time. I do not even remember when I bought mine, it has been in my bathroom forever (not in fridge) and it is still clear. I apply it on some scars I have on my arm, hoping it will lighten it (so far have not worked).

I am not a big fan of the moving LED background. It is distracting on its own, and then it makes your face/whole person look artificial. I'd rather you looked your normal human self and that I could focus on you and the product. I guess this would be even more so distracting for people with sight impairments or attention deficit disorders.
