Born into a Jewish family. Hebrew school, Bar Mitzvah and such. Converted to Christianity at the age of 17. I'm, now, 53. Moved through many facets of the Christian church for 15 years, then back into Judaism for a bit.... then into Buddhism and on and on. While I can't disagree with any of Rabbi Tovia's Biblical arguments (because he's spot on), we can't overlook one important reality; that it might be impossible to intellectualize someone out of the Christian faith. Why? Because Christianity isn't, primarily, about the intellect. It's about the EXPERIENCE of God. Now, I will say this, and I'm certain I will take some heat for it; as a man who has spent his life in many faiths and many different facets of those faiths, I have, personally, never encountered the experience of the FEELING and power of, what I could only reference as " the presence of God" as I did in Christian settings. Now, again, that's me. Having spent a lifetime in and around the Jewish faith, I never experienced anything remotely close to my years in the Christian Church. I'm not bringing this up to argue the specifics of the framework of the Christian Gospels or letters (having already acknowledged the Rabbi is spot on and is setting forth ideas that plagued me as a Christian from a Jewish background), as the origin and development of the framework is secondary in Christianity. The central aspect of Christianity is the offer to EXPERIENCE the FEELING of having God living inside of you. If you take that into consideration, you begin to realize that there is no combating Christianity. Because you can't argue with a mystical experience. Are the early Christian texts anti-Jewish? Absolutely. Are they a hodge-podge of Greco-Roman and other ancient ideas, all blended up into an extremely strange religious stew? Heck yes. Do they twist and contort Hebrew Scriptures and ideas into shapes and positions none thought possible? Yep. In spades. Do the early Christian writers rip the Hebrew texts out of their context, in an attempt to mislead? It appears so. Yes..... but are they special? Do they, still, move large masses of people with a power that seems tough to beat? Ya. They do. Not to mention that they, not only, seem to possess a spiritual/religious potency, they also possess some of the most beautiful and popular literature ever written (for those who view them as simple literature). In my mind, to deny these things, is to deny the reality of the situation. There is a power and "spiritual" force emanating from the Christian belief system. If that spiritual potency wasn't a real experience for many, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now. There is a reason the stories of Jesus and the Pauline faith have endured, and that reason has nothing to do with intellectual honesty. Bottom-line? This is a complex discussion, with shades and colors that I fear are more complex than what Rabbi Tovia's position sets forth. God bless the Rabbi. His work is VERY important, and his commitment to honest Biblical interpretation is undeniable!

Spot on. There are a few Christian denominations that attempt to be very biblical, with theological seminars, Bible study, and so on. Those people could be persuaded out of Christianity by confronting scriptures and historical data. On the other hand, the majority of Christians don't even read the Bible. They base everything on personal experience and personal interpretations, so they couldn't care less for facts, logic and common sense.

This planet is close to an end because of idolatry, believe it or not. Not that many realize that the CREATOR, ALMIGHTY, GOD WHO gives Life to ALL HIS CREATION, by HIS BREATH, BLESSED is HE, is offended by the lack of support and gratitude towards HIM, instead, insist that a dead man, born of a mortal woman is their god and savior, WOW!!? Rabbi Tovin Singer "Ritual Cannibalism": "Cannibalism is almost never practiced for sustenance" -- Rabbin Tovin Singer This is actually incorrect. MOST known and well-documented cases of cannibalism have been due to people dying of hunger. The human body was the only source of sustenance available, and so they, umm... You know... Ate... Hunger is a powerful feeling. It has been the driver of most known and documented cases of cannibalism. To be clear, Jesus said "Eat my flesh" and "Drink my blood", but he gave them wine for "blood" and "bread" for flesh. He said "Do this in remembrance of me.".

I lived in Christianity most of my life. I prayed a simple prayer at 26 yo: “G-d I want to be in truth. If I’m not in truth then lead me to truth. I want to know the originals of the faith you laid down for me.” From that point forward I left a Christian holiness group and moved to an apostolic Pentecostal group. Giving up the Trinity was like surgery with the pain and healing as G-d ripped that out of my heart. Several years ago I came to Israel alone for a short visit but never went back to the usa. The turning point was studying Tanach. What led me? The word of G-d. I begin to see the errors of my belief system. You can’t add anything to the word and you can’t take anything away from it and you can’t try to fit it to your lifestyle or beliefs. After my long journey here I’ve learned good lessons. First of all I’ll never allow a church or synagogue or pastor or rabbi dictate to me what I should believe. Unless I can see the truth for myself I won’t swallow the untruths I’ve swallowed in my past. Today I live as a Jew in Israel but still not arriving at the end of my journey. I still seek truth. I still seek G-d.

As always, Rabbi Singer covers so much. Jews were and are such an amazing historic and evolving reality. Light to the nations. Their exile seemingly has touched every nation and every empire -- empires now gone. I was amazing to learn so much positive connections to the USA, both Scofield and Alexander Hamilton. The scholar John Nelson Darby must have been "evangelical" but a brand that somehow adamantly insisted the Jews of today are divinely intended to return to their own land. Apparently their version "dispensationalism" rightly predicted Jews "waking up" and returning to a REBORN Israel. Resurrected from the dead, like dry bones. Yet other versions of evangelicals think Jews must convert to Jesus. How subtle and vicious. Christianity has been perpetrators of more antisemitism, pogroms, witch hunts, crusades, inquisitions, holocausts, dungeons and tortures and expulsions -- and finally Hitler's death camps. God wake up the Jewish people, to their destiny, in the days of the final redemption, to be the world's teachers and spiritual guides. Jews must return to Judaism, but the whole world must also turn to Judaism, for the LIGHT.

When Judaism brings in metaphor or myth, there is usually a teaching dimension. At Pesach, the door is opeened for Eliahu. A glass of wine poured, an empty chair for him. The story of the Akeda, binding of Isaac, Avraham did not literally kill his son. God stopped him. And circumcision is regarded as symbolical of castration. God has promised to circumcise our hearts. At one point in history, the gentile nations were given over to "ervah" uncleanness and indecency.

To Moses We gave the Book and sent a succession of messengers after him. We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. But, whenever a messenger came to you with something which you did not desire, you grew arrogant, calling some liars and slaying others. (87) They say, "Our hearts are impenetrably wrapped [against whatever you say]," but God has rejected them for their denial; they have but little faith. (88)

Thank you so much Rabbi Singer. I listen to everything I can find that you teach and say. I believed in father GOD from age five. I said my prayers every night. When I was 12 my family moved from the country to a big city. There I forgot about my heavenly Father until I was 32 when I began to call on my heavenly Father again and became a Christain beliver for the first time. (1973) continuning again until after much heartache and tribulation, searching and study I discovered Messianic Christainity. (1995). Again after much research and many hours of study until (2003) after 30 years of much tribulation I found the answer I had been seeking for. Judaism was the faith of Israel, Jesus was not the Savior and the New Testament was a forgery and a fake, and not the words of Yahuah my heavenly Father. Praise be His Holy name. Finally after 50 yrs, I found what I had been searching for since a child. Amein

I have a similar story and I am in a far away nation than yours. From not knowing to seeking God, finding Hinduism (1994), then I felt empty, soul searched and was led to Christianity (2005), was in it for 15 years, found Messianic Christianity or rather Messianic Judaism in 2020 (only not believing in Rabbinic Judaism and Oral Torah because of the misinformation spread about it) and now finding more lies in the NT concerning the alleged satanic sin sacrifice of the Jesus (the satanic story of the "sacrifice" made up by the Romans) and seeing the relevance of the Torah as a whole. Having married into a religious Christian family thinking God was with them, where one in the family is a pastor, it makes it quite difficult as I still go through trials and tribulations against current family and my once upon a time friends in my stand for Yahuah. But I've found what I've always been looking for since a young age, to know God the Father in spirit and in TRUTH and so happy to be a part of the holy nation of Israel.

Dr. Yozevitch and Dr. Singer, thank you for providing this profitable discussion. I was impressed with how much Dr. Singer understood Protestant Christianity especially Reformed Theology. You accurately represented many of the doctrines fairly, however I challenge your assertion that we don't know who wrote the Gospels. While you site Irenaeus of Lyons at the end of the 2nd century as if he was the only one who attributed the gospels to the names of the books but so did Tertullian of Carthage, Clement of Alexandria, and Papias of Hierapolis in 125 AD. Furthermore, you site this as Catholic tradition, which is misleading as most modern readers will understand that as the Catholic Church post reformation. Catholic meaning "Universal" was the name ascribed to the early church, which doesn't represent anything close to the Catholic Church post 800 AD. Next you site 367 AD as the era in which the 27 books of the Bible were established as scripture, which is inaccurate. To site CARM, "If one takes together all the writings of just the first decades of the second century (such as the letters of Ignatius, Polycarp, and Pseudo-Barnabas and the instructional works of the Didache, Papias, and Hermas) we find citations from every book of the New Testament except the tiny letters of Jude and 3 John.2 In fact, in just the one letter we have from Polycarp, 1 Peter is cited eight times, 1 Corinthians four times, 2 Corinthians two times, Galatians four times, 1 Timothy three times, 2 Timothy two times, Romans two times, 1 John one time, Philippians two times, and 2 Thessalonians two times.3 There is no question that these writers already knew most of the New Testament and wholly embraced it as divinely inspired and authoritative." Lastly, in respect to your misunderstanding of Ezekiel 18 and one person being able to satisfy the sins of another. While this is true for humans who are sinful, God is not restricted by this as Jesus the Messiah was perfect and could die for the sins of those of us who are imperfect. Isaiah 53:5 "He was wounded because of our rebellious deeds, crushed because of our sins; he endured punishment that made us well; because of his wounds we have been healed." Thank you again for opening this discussion.

@Abraham Mani There is zero evidence that Jesus existed and even less evidence that he was the Messiah or saved anyone. My ancestors stopped believing in humans and inanimate objects 4000 years ago starting with Abraham, the whole Torah is about worshipping the one and only creator not in a human or a rock. The one and only true G-d and creator of everything is a G-d of mercy. G-d gave us the commandments for us to live in the best way we can and those commandments are eternal and can not be replaced by one commandment of faith in a human by the name of Jesus. Christianity is pagan idolatry. There is only 1 G-d and 1 eternal Torah that contradicts everything Christians falsely believe. @Abraham Mani it is time to follow Abraham and the Torah not the false Christian translations of the Torah and the false testament. If you want to follow G-d read his Torah in the original Hebrew.

I agree with Rabbi Tovia on several points. His comments, however, from 14:30 to 16:08 concerning the communion is not a common belief in Evangelical Protestantism. I spent over twenty years in Evangelical ministry and attended more than half a dozen of the most respected Christian Higher Education institutions. This concept of Jesus indwelling in a believer by consuming communion is a stretch. Furthermore, him liking it to cannibalism, an argument I've heard many times, is sensational. Nothing amounts to it, even in common practice.

I agree for Protestants that he overplaying it, communion is mostly symbolic. For Catholics it’s very literal, transubstantiation is literally turning the eucharist into the real blood and flesh of Jesus.

True but context of order of Melchizedek, the perpetual daily sacrifice of bread and wine, why our churches most beautful houses for the physical indwelling of God Himself. I find some comments not understanding the experience of God Himself, or others blasphemous and insulting. The rabbi appears drawing from Protestant sources. The first King James bible was for use of temporal leadership, and full of errors. Catholics don’t use it much.

Rabbi Tovia Singer is a right candidate for our Lord Jesus Christ, who ... Phillipians 2:6-11 6 ....., being in very nature[a] God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death- even death on a cross! 9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This video have been the most interesting I have ever seen and heard. The reason is because when I first found Rabbi Singer in You Tube, was because some lady came to me, in the strange way. I had just started to go to a Christian church and discussing the teachings of the church outside the recreation room at the Senior complex where I live, this unknown lady came to me and told me to return to my roots and seek out Rabbi Singer to learn about the truth of it all. Ever since then, I came to the realization that this lady was a messenger, because after that day I never saw the lady again. I have been living in this place for the past 13 years. Rabbi Singer mission is to bring his Jewish family home, to our roots. I truly believe this desire of Rabbi Singer to learn from the religious people who were the Jewish people long enemies for the past 3000 years. It was all a false to lure the people of this planet to believe that this certain race were gods under pressure of death and threads. People have been brainwashed throughout the ages and our CREATOR, SAVIOR and REDEEMER, is bringing us all back. HaShem, blessed is He, have His ways to work things for the world He created. This is now my strongest faith and trust. B"H

“Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and moved to another place. When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his fruit. “The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third. Then he sent other servants to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way. Last of all, he sent his son to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said. “But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance.’ So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,” they replied, “and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants, who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time.” Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: “ ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.” When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus’ parables, they knew he was talking about them. They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet. *Matthew 21:33-46*

Thank you for your talk. You indeed understand much about Christianity. A few clarifications: (1) I agree with you that Calvinism is wrong, but it is only a small minority of the church. (2) You correctly state that Christianity does not view that the ritualistic forms of Judaism are applicable to those who are "in Christ". But, I wonder, hasn't Judaism, since the destruction of the Temple in 70 CE, also abandoned some important mitzvot, such as offering sacrifices? (3) Sola Scriptura does not mean, as you said, "that Protestants...source of knowledge is only the Bible". No Christian that I know of believes that. It means that the Bible can be relied on for being wholly true. There are infinite sources of knowledge outside of the Bible, such as using the scientific method to find truth.

@@bradleyriegg8432 Well, we it's called teshuvah which is usually translated as repentance. A better translation is returning (to G-d). It basically entails regretting the sin, committing not to repeat it, then verbally confessing to G-d. By the way, when the Torah was given, obviously G-d knew there would be a time when the Temple would be destroyed. Even when the Temple stood and sacrificial offerings were brought, if a Jew sinned, i.e. it was a mistake, s/he would still have to do teshuvah. In other words, simply bringing a sin offering wasn't enough to get atonement. I hope my explanation helps.

Mr. Rabbi Tovia Singer, you argue that according to (torah) tanach, no one can die for others' sins as christians believe that Jesus died for their sins. If that is so, what does Isaiah 53:10 mean? which says "Yet it pleased (God) the Lord to bruise Him; He Has put Him to grief; WHEN YOU MAKE HIS SOUL AN OFFERING FOR SIN, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hands". Can you tell who is that spoken in this verse? You claim that the servant spoken in this chapter is the nation of Israel that it had undergone many sufferings in exile. So can we make the nation of Israel an offering for our sin? But it suffered due to its iniquities as torah speaks at many places. But the one whom is spoken in this chapter is holy, and has devine nature because wherever the scriptures mention Him, capital letter is used to deffentiate Him with normal people.

PS- When I was in the Jewish Cultural Center in the Old City, the hosts there put on a seminar for all-comers, and I 'happened' to show up that very morning. G-d wanted me to learn something more. They showed us the movie The Chosen, which was fine, and then they played an extended lecture by the rabbi, whom they said was the most learned rabbi in the world on Yeshua and the New Testament. It was a fascinating lecture, and I was dumbfounded at hearing this rabbi speak about how Yeshua never once broke any of the mitzvot found in Torah. This rabbi might have been Breitowitz. He proved point by point how Yeshua didn't break any of the Words found in Torah, such as observing shabbat, even when He was accused by the Pharisees and Sadducees of doing so. Then at the end of his lecture, he said the most remarkable thing: The only command that Yeshua broke--the only one--was that of claiming to be G-d's Son and Mashiach. What stunned me about this conclusion was that everything he said up to that moment pointed to one possible conclusion: that Yeshua, never having broken Torah, healing the lame, the blind and raising people from the dead, just as predicted in prophecy, and being perfect, had to have been exactly who He said He was. How could this be? I do not understand.

Same thing when Isreal sinned blood had to be shed for their sins. I’m sure most Jews believe if you seek the truth in scripture you will find it as it’s a promise of haShem. Keep seeking and you will find Him in your own scriptures. It is all written about him. Why was Abraham told to sacrifice Isaac?! Why did Abraham call Isaac his only Son? Why on mt Mariah? It’s all prophetic about Gods son. You will see it when you seek with all your heart as commanded.

I lived with Christian mercenaries who tried to convert me but despite being far away from religion my belief in God Almighty was solid and I could never believe that God was a human. Sadly Christians killed their god and to me that is the end of the matter. Where as my God and yours have always been one and will be One Hear O! Israel your lord is one. The invisible the one and only nothing resemble his Majesty. While we may say we believe in God their God is a god man who died to us we find that an extreme criminal act.

Great show. One comment, the great schism was not over icons, Byzantium had a period of iconoclasm and destroying icons a couple of centuries before the great schism, but that movement was eventually overthrown and they went back to icons by the time of the great schism. The great schism itself, no clue honestly, I think it was probably a political matter. The Byzantine emperor did not like the way the pope asserted his authority in the middle ages, when the power of the church rivaled that of the state. There are theological issues probably somewhere but it was more than likely window dressing. Modern protestantism in the US from my knowledge is actually iconoclastic to some degree again, we did not have any images of Jesus or Saints in our church as is common in catholicism or the more catholic like protestants. However there were images of Jesus in our literature, it was not iconoclastic to the degree of Judaism or Islam. From my understanding the prohibition of images on those religions has at times been quite extreme and extended to all images of any subject in the secular domain as well. That's why Islam is known for its architecture and calligraphy and poetry and philosophy and such, but Islamic paintings are practically unheard of as an art form. While Christianity of course abounds with imagery. In the Sistine Chapel in Rome one of the most famous paintings of all time by Michaelangelo depicts "God the Father" himself, which of course is completely absurd from the perspective of the other Abrahamic religions.

Christ made all things new. Catholic churches bring in statues, icons, paintings, candles on racks, the baptistry with clean pure water, flowers, even small trees as symbols in thanksgiving of the Creator’s gifts to us. The earliest Church did not have artifacts because of the memory early Christians had of the martyrdoms of those who refused to worship pagan statues. Hundreds of years later, the ancient Esstern churches brought in the use of icons to create a sacred environment. The seat of Peter was given power to bind and loosen in aiding the administration of the faithful in changing cultural conditions. Christianity was made legal and thus its culture developed. However, temporal rulers were having great concern of trouble by neighboring Muslims and their growing and possible violent protests against the so called symbols of idolatry, a tragic label here so often used against Christianity that likewise cannot differentiate between the Apostolic Church vs revolutionary text alone ‘reformer’.

Isaiah 53 Yahusha 53 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. 10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. 11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. 12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

10:30 Really, the ideas of human sacrifice are appalling to Tannahk? I guess whomever the servant is, whether 1 or many persons is an idea that originates here 👇 But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 ESV By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off from the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people? Isaiah 53:8 ESV Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. Isaiah 53:10 ESV Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his "knowledge" shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be "accounted righteous", and he shall bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:11 ESV This statement 10:30 couldn't be more dishonest. THE SERVANT, WHOMEVER HE(OR THEY) MIGHT BE, IS A GUILT OFFERING, SAID BY ISAIAH. READING THE PLAIN MEANING OF THE TEXT MAKES IT CLEAR. Look up guilt offering in concordances to define "GUILT OFFERING". Since the law of Moses was provided we are made knowledgable of sin making us guilty of sin. After living and doing things that are sin and we realize we have committed them we need to bring a "GUILT OFFERING" not because we feel guilty but because the law makes us guilty of trespassing, therefore when we commit them, unintentionally, for not knowing, after realizing we are guilty we ought to bring a guilt offering that replaces our place for punishment. However, we are always guilty for we now know what sin is through the Torah. Leviticus tells us our responsability for dealing with the guilt of sin. 👇 "He shall also make restitution for what he has done amiss in the holy thing and shall add a fifth to it and give it to the priest. And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and he shall be forgiven. “If anyone sins, doing any of the things that by the Lord’s commandments ought not to be done, though he did not know it, then realizes his guilt, he shall bear his iniquity. He shall bring to the priest a ram without blemish out of the flock, or its equivalent, for a guilt offering, and the priest shall make atonement for him for the mistake that he made unintentionally, and he shall be forgiven. It is a guilt offering; he has indeed incurred guilt before the Lord.” Leviticus 5:16‭-‬19 ESV SO WHO IS HE, THE SERVANT, (OR THEY) SO THAT WE CAN ACQUIRE THE SERVANTS KNOWLEDGE SINCE WE DON'T HAVE A PRIESTLY ORDINANCE FUNCTIONING IN OFFICE! ARE YOU AND ALL OF US IN SIN FOR NOT HAVING A PRIESTLY ORDINANCE IN OFFICE? ARE WE THEN IN VIOLATION OF THE TORAH? WHAT ABOUT HUNDREDS WHO DIED AND WILL NEVER SEE A PRIESTLY ORDINANCE FUNCTIONING? WILL THEY'RE SOULS PERISH FOR NOT HAVING OBEYED THE TORAH? DOESN'T THE TORAH SAYS "CURSED IS THE MAN WHO DOES NOT OBEY "ALL '' IN THIS TORAH". THIS IS A HUGE CONUNDRUM! So then I can be justified by the works of the Law, that is, by performing the law of bringing a lamb to the priest. However, there's no priestly ordinance in place. So how can I be justified? Certainly not by the works of the law, that is by performing my responsibilities of bringing a lamb, goat, etc because there's no one there to perform the ritual that will set me free from guilt. Therefore, WHO IS THE SERVANT WHOSE KNOWLEDGE WILL JUSTIFY ME, WHO IS A GUILT OFFERING. WHERE IS HE? HOW DO I ACQUIRE HIS KNOWLEDGE THROUGH WHICH I CAN ATTAIN JUSTIFICATION AND BE MADE RIGHTEOUS BEFORE GOD? WE NOW SEE JESUS, THE BRANCH OF DAVID, THE FOUNTAIN OF SALVATION FROM THE HOUSE OF DAVID THROUGH WHOM I ACQUIRE THE KNOWLEDGE OF SALVATION. THE INNOCENT SERVANT OF GOD WHO WAS LED TO HIS DEATH AS A GUILT OFFERING FOR THE SALVATION OF MY SOUL. JESUS SAW LIFE AND GOD GAVE HIM A PLACE AMONG THE MIGHTY, AFTER HE MADE HIS SOUL A GUILT OFFERING I BELIEVED THEREFORE I BECAME HIS OFFPRING, AND THE WILL OF GOD PROSPERS IN US WHO BELIEVE.

Why did Yeshua ask this question in Luke 20: 39 Some of the Torah-teachers answered, “Well spoken, Rabbi.” 40 For they no longer dared put to him a sh’eilah. 41 But he said to them, “How is it that people say the Messiah is David’s son?” 42 For David himself says in the book of Psalms, 43 ‘Adonai said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.” ’[d] 44 David thus calls him ‘Lord.’ So how can he be David’s son?”

The messianic kingdom was never about this physical world. It was always spirit. And you were never going to live forever anyway, unless you come through Jesus, the only way, truth and eternal life. Ye must be born again. Jesus was explaining the resurrection. We had to be born to come into this physical world. We will have to be "born again" in the resurrection to come into the kingdom of God. Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water (physical birth, born) and of the Spirit (resurrected, born again), he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh IS flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit IS spirit. We are still flesh, we are not yet spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? We are not yet like the wind. 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. Eze 37:11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. 12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, 14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD. Eze 37:24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. 25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. 26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. 27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore. Hosea 6:1-3 This scripture is about the first resurrection and Jesus' second coming. The first verse is about Jesus dying on the cross to reconcile us to God. The second verse tells us how long it will be until he returns to receive us unto himself. And the third day is the millennial kingdom when we will live in his sight. Ho 6:1 ¶ Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. 3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. 2Pe 3:8 ¶ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. If two days is two thousand years, Jesus coming would be two thousand years from his leaving. 2030 to 2033, depending on when he was crucified. "Replacement theology" is one of those disparaging distinctions thrown around to dismiss an idea without debate, like "anti-semite" and "conspiracy theorist." The church is Israel, and is the fulfillment of the promises God made to Adam and Noah and Abraham and Israel and Moses. Not a replacement at all, but a fulfillment and inclusion. The final fulfillment is to be accomplished in the millennial kingdom. His kingdom is not of this world. Any "apparent" fulfillment in this present world is an antichrist counterfeit. The messianic prophecies were always meant to be fulfilled in the first resurrection and in the millennial kingdom. A remnant is a very small leftover from a much larger whole. All Israel will only be saved in a remnant. The Jewish misunderstanding that the messianic kingdom would be fulfilled in this present time and among the physical nation of Israel was always wrong. Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. (KJV) Ro 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. All we believers, Jews and Greeks, will be revived and rule with Christ on the third day. There is no "church age". That is not found in the Bible. Ga 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. This idea people have of separating gentile believers from Jewish believers is unbiblical. Unbelieving Jews won't be saved anyway. Neither will unbelieving gentiles. There is no gentile church. There is only an Israel church with whom gentiles have been blessed to conjunct. Joh 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Mt 3:9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. John the baptizer Ga 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but AS OF ONE, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Ga 3:19 ¶ Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, TILL THE SEED SHOULD COME to whom the promise was made; Lu 3:9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Mt 8:11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Ro 9:26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. 27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: 28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. 29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha. The complete fulfillment will be in the first resurrection. Eze 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. Ro 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Ro 9:6 ¶ Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. Ro 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: Just as God changed Jacob's name to Israel, He changes our name to Israel when we believe in Jesus. Everyone who believes in Jesus is Israel. No one else is. Therefore, "all Israel shall be saved."

The problem is the believer over time can turn to the world for pleasure and greed. The problem resides in the human heart, both the source of virtue and sin. Using the bible as justification for ‘being right’ whatever your religion is can be dangerous and leads to self righteousness and bigotry, I am better than you because my bible i own tells me so.

No one can debate TRUTH. These debates occur when someone is trying to get his opinion held above water in relation to anther's. In most cases, rather than explaining his beliefs in a logical way, he resorts to running down another's beliefs. As if that would make his own beliefs come true. Paul's warning: 1 Timothy 6:4 he is puffed up with pride and does not understand anything. He is obsessed with arguments and debates about words.

No imperfect human has gone up to heaven and come back omniscient; nor has any human the ability to control the wind, the seas, or the geological forces shaping the earth. In effect, then, Agur asked: ‘Do you know the name or family line of any man who has done these things?’ We must answer no.-Compare Job 38:1-42:3; Isaiah 40:12-14; Jeremiah 23:18; 1 Corinthians 2:16.

I think the "tri-une God head" is weird, myself, & my extended family are Baptists & Methodists. As a child, you just accept it, as you mentioned in Australia. Later, you just see Jesus as God's Son. Very, very few really stress that Jesus IS God, except we are supposed to say, this is true, even though it falls in the realm of the mystical, so it's really a blurry area. I actually think Most of us are more like Jews than you give us credit, on that point. Unless they've been to a seminary, it's just weird, and not really that big a deal, although we're supposed to pretend it's a big deal, in my opinion. My dad was a Baptist preacher, but he died when I was 4, & slowly we stopped attending. I've only met one uncircumcised guy, & he didn't see it as a religious thing, as far as I know ( but maybe). He just thought circumcision sounded PAINFUL, but recognized bad problems can happen without it, like skin infections. Didn't Christians pretty much all decide Jewish people are right about that? I was shocked when my mother told me the grape juice represented blood. She didn't even say "blood of Christ", for a few freaky moments. She definitely thought it was weird. She left off the "of Christ" part, so that I would get that. Her parents didn't attend church, but she was married to my dad, the Baptist preacher, for 8 or 9 years. I think it's just a symbolic mysticism, that Christians stress, because of that "Anxiety of Influence" thing that Harold Bloom describes. I think Christians have begun to realize the odd things, but there is sort of a vacuum there, now. I wouldn't call it cannibalism Today, now, in the present. I would call the blood thing mysticism.

I find it somewhat humorous that Mr. Singer says Tanakh is "delicious" and "You will drink it" I do agree with much of what he says concerning Christian tradition, but fail to understand how he can eat Haman's ears, eat the Torah and drink it, yet criticize me for feasting and drinking the witness of Father's nature and character as revealed in the life of Jesus.

You give rabbi way too much credit. His wisdom is from the Bible. You can mock, but the Bible is true, You should be proud of the Jews that God is keeping his promises to bless them. You should rejoice with them. Give up your antisemitism.

@@robertshepherd8543 Please don’t tell me that Torah is delicious and fault me for saying someone’s life that lived it is not sweet. That is a lack of wisdom.

@@stephenmartin2409 You aint listening too well. Watch this clip again. What the rabbi says is not original with him, it's from the Bible. Do you know Hebrew? Instead of being jealous of Jews, and hating them, you should be proud of the Jews that God is keeping his promises to bless them. You should rejoice with them. Give up your hate and antisemitism.

I’m so blabby tonight! I think Dr Elaine Pagels has the best research about the book of Revelation. So Jews want to know how to help and support the Mossiach while Evangelicals want to know what a returning Jesus will do for them. What a difference. How does Ben Shapiro reconcile that? Did you look at the Jews For Jesus new office in Jerusalem? Where did all that money come from?

@Abraham Mani , There is only One True Creator G_d, and besides G_d there is No Other Savior! Emanuel was not "Jesus"! They were born thousands of years apart. G_d warned us about Christianity thousands of years ago. Christianity adopted way too many idolatrous and pagan beliefs contrary to what G_d actually said.
