It seems that TS, like the religious teachers of Jesus' day, make God out to be incapable of fulfilling his promises. (cf Isaiah 55:11) The Messiah came on schedule. Prophets can’t add or subtract from the instructions contained in the first 5 books. NOR are they fortune tellers predicting the future that must come to pass. The role of a prophet is to bring Israel back to the Law after they have strayed. Therefore the books of the prophets must be read in context with their counterpart in the history books.

Thus, everyone has their own responsibility for what they learn. When you get the Bible in your hand, then the responsibility for understanding lies with you. Of course, if you do not give up your rights. The various sects of the church are born of those who hand over responsibility to others. One of the problems with Christianity is that most Christian Sunday sermons are either solely about the New Testament or are Joel Osteen style sermons that have very little to do with either the New or Old Testament. Most of Joel Osteen’s sermons resemble improved motivational speaker Tony Robbins type lectures on how to be successful in life. Deuteronomy 4:2 basically says not to substitute other Joel Osteen type material for the Old Testament that supports Christianity’s adulterous, idolatrous worship of idols, money & financial success. The reason the Old Testament is so important is that the Old Testament is more or less a history book of the human race. And if you don’t learn from history, you are doomed to repeat the same mistakes you have made in the past. The main problem with the New Testament is that in terms of a history book, it only goes back to the time of JC. The New Testament just doesn’t cover a very long time period. Only a small remnant of Jews survived. G - -‘s punishment for the Jews was considerably worse than what happened to Jews in World War II in terms of percentage of the population massacred. So if you think Christians will somehow escape G - -‘s wrath from idolatrous Joel Osteen type preaching, then think again as G - - doesn’t have the same type of relationship with Christians due to Christian worship of JC as their savior. In fact Obadiah 18 basically states that there will be no survivors from the house of Esau. Are there any other unforeseen problems created by Joel Osteen type preaching whereby very little Tanakh based scripture is taught during sermons? Yes. First Christians suffer immensely financially & socially from this type of Tanakh-free preaching. Just look at how many radio talk shows have popped up in major cities across the USA with the theme of “catching cheaters” in regards to adultery. Cheater themed talk shows are incredibly popular and are now major advertising revenue creators for radio talk shows as radio listeners love to hear about other peoples’ misery. Adultery, and divorce caused by adultery is absolutely rampant throughout America. The social costs are in the multiple billions in terms of children who now live with one parent or who now have to move back and forth between parents during the holidays. Poor quality, low Tanakh content Joel Osteen type Christian preaching also invariably leads to rampant antisemitism when divorced broken family angry Christians look at their happily married Jewish neighbors who tend to not only be happy in life but who tend to have multiple happy and well adjusted children. And all this Christian divorce, misery & unhappiness could be so easily avoided if only Christians would realize that the only person cashing in on Tanakh-free sermons is possibly Joel Osteen and his family. Tanakh-free sermons create a situation much like the mega state lottery where there is only one 400 million dollar winner and everyone besides the winner loses the $3 they paid for the tickets. With Tanakh-free sermons, Joel Osteen is the main lottery winner. Additionally, the Christian version of the Old Testament in the Christian Bible has been so severely altered to support Christianity’s love for idolatry and adultery, that the Christian version of the Old Testament is no longer even remotely usable. If you don’t believe adultery is a problem in the USA just contemplate the proliferation of morning radio show programs about catching cheaters. He does (again like Christian fundamentalists ) resort to some facts & wider context only when it suits his argument. There is a vast amount of non-canonical wrtings writtten between 500 bce & 70 ad known as old testament pseudoepigrapha which serve as a background for much of what this discussion is talking about. But neither Tovia nor Christian fundamentalists would like to acknowledge this. A few other points. The talmud, although hostle to yeshua does acknowñedge 1) he existed & 2) he did some wild miracles or magic tricks depending on your take. Also Eitan Bar's "Rabbinic Objections to Christianity" serves as a Rebuttal to many of Tovia's claims. And, according to science parthenogenesis is possible in humans, but very very unlikely. Unfortunately the actual numerical probability of the chance remains unknown. Of course a few scientists have taken a stab at it. I recommend making up your own mind.

Isaac Luria used to go to contemplate at a grave in the Galilee, that he thought was the grave of Yeshua Nazari, who he called a tzadik. Not messiah or anything like that. But I think this suggests at least some Jews, some Jews who practice Rabbinic Judaism more importantly, actually did view Jesus as something of a righteous person. And they obviously respected him. Ezekiel isn't a disinterested witness. heh. He's part of the same "book" so to speak. You can't use Tanach to verify Tanach. That's the utter definition of unfalsifiable. Tanach is for all intents and purposes, one book, a compilation. And it has probably, theoretically based on evidence, been edited and redacted numerous times over. You can only validate Tanach, or even Torah for that matter, by comparing it to extra-biblical sources. Actually, non-Jewish, non-Rabbinical sources. Any Jewish or Rabbinical sources are automatically biased and created within a paradigm that is based on the premise that it is all word for word, true. It's just impossible to determine the authenticity of such texts using that text or associated texts authored under that premise. It's just as likely, Ezekiel was also either added to or written, rather late. If any of the Ezekiel stuff was earlier, which many suggest is the case, it could have just as easily been added to. While Torah was compiled earlier, Tanach didn't exist as we have it today. There were a wide variety of writings, associated with one another but not part of any formalized canon. There are Daniel, Jeremiah etc.. writings that didn't make it into their "books", as they appear to be literary characters whether they existed in real life at some point or not. Just to say, the version we read about is very unlikely to be reflecting reality accurately, whether they existed or not. And the mass of literature associated with these characters were extremely diverse, in variation and story, and only came together in their current form around the 1st or 2nd century CE. Likely the latter half of the 1st century if then. And there appears to be evidence the texts themselves were still evolving into their current form up until around that point. Which is why he's an "eye witness" to Daniel. Both were likely aligned in the 2nd century. Some of each text might have existed before the 2nd century, Ezekiel more so than Daniel. But it's highly likely Daniel was added to whatever of Ezekiel existed, when Daniel appears to have been mostly written in the 2nd century BCE. Daniel confuses Darius the I with Darius the Mede. There are just too many anachronisms in book of Daniel. Daniel was trying to rationalize why Jeremiahs prophecy fails. And then Daniel rescheduled prophecy, had a specific purpose, at least partly. Plus the dating is off relative to other historical account. Which is not all based on Herodotus, or even just Greek sources. There appears to be material evidence for things like the destruction of the temple in 586 BCE, and not 424(?) or whatever year the Rabbinical tradition suggests. Plus Nebuchadnezzar wasn't the last King of Babylon, he had been gone I believe for decades at that point. And the stories associated with Nebuchadnezzar seem to originally have been associated with Nabonidus, who is attested to have been the King of Babylon when it fell to Cyrus. Nabonidus who wandered in te wilderness and gave himself over to a moon cult. At least that was the lore. But either way, those things appear to have happened to Nabonidus and not Nebuchadnezzar. Plus there's almost 200 years of history missing there in the Hebrew tradition. Which just can't be accounted for. Many Orthodox scholars even have admitted this and proposed theories as to why, which are readily available online. And the Rabbinical tradition itself has spent countless pages attempting to rationalize such discrepancies. And the Hebrew dating has been compared to numerous biblical sources, including well accepted astronomical events that simply do not align with the Hebrew tradition as they should given the text. Which is very hard evidence to argue against since it's actually empirical. The Tel Dan stele does suggest A David existed. But there's no way to know how close to the biblical narrative he might have been. For all we know he could have been high chief David of tiny villages. And there doesn't appear to be remnants of the grand Solomonic Kingdom described in the text, which, well, there theoretically should be given the size and scope attested to in the text. But we can probably accept that both existed in some form and were Kings of Israel/Judah. All though as it stands there is also little evidence that there was ever a united monarchy. So more likely they were early Kings of Judah, later adapted to reign over a unified Israel when the mythologies of the Northern Kingdom Samaria and Southern Kingdom Judah were combined. Which appears to possibly have occurred when Assyria attacked Samaria and many wealthy and elite, educated aristocracy would have fled to Judah eventually becoming Judeans themselves. Retaining the Northern Kingdom myths and combining them in one narrative with the southern. Which we can't really tell when that occurred or who might have eventually threaded the narratives together. The Joseph and Jacob stories appear to mostly come from the Northern Kingdom. And it's actually been proposed that it was Ephraim, not Judah, with the original royal decree so to speak. As Ephraim, and that region of Samaria, by far seems to have been the most populous and economically successful during the early period, and King Omri is actually the first King of the North we actually have attested to. Long before there is evidence for a 1st king of Judah, until I believe Hezekiah. And then the Josian reforms seem to be the origin of the schism between later Samaritans and Jews. When Josia burned down all the high places and sacrificed the other non Jerusalem priests on the alters. Even destroying other YhVh temples, forcing their priest, the Levitical sect, not "patrilineal" line as the mythology would later become, to practice in Jerusalem and Jerusalem only, thereby turning the Jerusalem temple into the center of society and commerce in the region. As temples brought in the majority of revenue for a city or kingdom. And Pharisees aren't all Judaism. They aren't exactly Orthodox Judaism. Judaism grew out of the Pharisaic movement, but they are indeed different. The Rabbinic traditions developed after the diaspora. The Sadducees don't need to exist, their beliefs still exist. 70% of Jews have beliefs that are more in line with the Sadducees than the Pharisees. Around 70% of modern Jews do not believe in the supernatural, do not believe in resurrection, do not believe in a conscious afterlife, do not believe in divine prophecy and do not believe Tanach/Torah are divinely authored texts. Now most of those beliefs overlap with the Sadducees not the Pharisees. Only about 30% of Jews have beliefs that overlap mostly with the Pharisees. All though, most Jews today aren't legal Torah authoritarians, so in that way they are not like the Sadducees. But you can use the oral Torah tradition and not be Orthodox or "Pharisaic". I believe the Essenes also used oral Torah. And it can be said that the beliefs of many modern Jews probably overlap in ways with Essenes also. All Jews use tradition influenced by Pharisees. Even Reform Jews come out of the Rabbinical movement. But Reform don't adhere to all 13 principles. And neither do 70% or so of Jews. So while the Sadducees might officially be gone, their beliefs are not. Just like the Pharisees are officially gone, but their beliefs influence modern forms of Judaism. Judaism is what Jews do and believe. Not what 20-30% of Jews do and believe. Orthodox/Rabbinical Judaism is just one variety of Judaism. Judaism is an umbrella term for the beliefs and practices of the Jews, the people of the Kingdom of Judah, which came in many different forms. Judaism never was a formal religion and technically still isn't. Rabbinical Judaism has been formalized, but Judaism itself can't be, because it is the belief and practices of the Jewish people, not just Rabbinical Jews.

Be careful not to oversell the strength of the "embarrassment" historicity check. It is not nearly as compelling as Rabbi Singer makes out in this video. If you're trying to tell a story that involves oppression or redemption, you are essentially obligated to record every single downtrodden event that occurs to that character that you can find and the history of the Jews is sold as a redemption story. This applies to both King David and to Jesus. Rabbi Singer, makes it out like he's comparing apples and oranges with the Tanakh and New Testament in terms of historicity and while we can be reasonably sure that both characters were at the least inspired by real people, it in no way validates all of the claims about the persons. Which Rabbi Singer doesn't claim, but one has to wonder if it is strategically omitted. I'll put it this way, I believe Rabbi Singer when he says, "I'm going to tell you the truth."

World peace does not happen until the REAL Messiah comes and the third Temple is built. That has not happened yet. That's why we still have wars. Also Christians need to realize they've been lied to (Jer. 16:19) and come to the Jews to learn the truth (Zech. 8:23).

Christmas is a usurption of a pagan festival Saturnalia. Obviously when you have an empire like Constantine had and you want to introduce a new religion like Christianity you have to synchronize a little or you would have a breakdown of society. You talk about this a lot in your videos that Christmas is irrelevant because it is not mentioned in the Bible and is unlikely to be Jesus's real birthday but Empires and countries do this a lot. My wonderful Queen Elizabeth II has two birthdays. A real one in April and an official one in June. She no doubt celebrates both, but the official one was set in June hundreds of years ago, so that they could have a countrywide celebration in warm weather. Christianity successfully usurps a pagan festival to introduce a new religion, gentile Christianity and there is nothing wrong with that. Jesus tells his apostles that they need to go out and preach the gospels to the ends of the earth. In other words God is bringing in gentiles and converting them. In fact, the Jewish apostles were shocked that God was anointing gentiles but actally it was prophesized that messiah would go out to the whole earth and Jesus has done that. I suspect as the power moves back to the people of God there will be a new Jewish type Christianity because God is contextual. Perhaps the grounded Rabbinic Judaism will come together with spiritual Christianity and the fulfilling of peace on earth will begin along with freedom from illness and even death. Perhaps an analogy would be the coming together of classical and quantum physics. A hatred of either Christianity or a hatred of Judaism is not good. We need to be seekers of the truth not merely advocates of a religion. We need to be open to God changing things not just to what has been already completed in biblical texts. God comes with power. There would be no relevant Bible withou the power of God. The scriptures, all of them, would be irrelevant. Rabbinic Judaism has a mission of keeping the Jewish people together and has done an excellent job in that and protecting the law and the Tanakh etc. But Messiah goes out to the ends of the earth. That is his mission.

SOME BREEDS LIKE RAMBOULLET, DORSET OR POLYPAY ARE NON SEASONAL BREEDERS AND CAN HAVE LAMBS ANY TIME OF YEAR. The majority of breeds including "Jacobs Sheep , " now found in Israel, are seasonal breeders. Jacob Sheep are a rare ancient breed believed to have originated in the Mediterranean area but are now found throughout the world.

@@saraholiver5558 Yes but as I have said before, it is like the Queens and Kings of England that have an official birthdate and an unofficial real birthdate and celebrations take place in the country on the official date. The reason the Queen had a real birthday of 21st April and official birthdate in June was because it was warmer in June to celebrate outside. With Jesus his official birthdate usurps the pagan festival of Saturnalia and no doubt the Romans had no idea of his real unofficial birthdate but it seemed like a good time and opportunity to celebrate Christ's birthday and usurp the old festival at the same time. At the end of the day it is all about spiritual warfare and not so much about his real birth and what worries me is that well-meaning Messianic Jews want to abolish Christmas because it seems tainted by the old pagan ways but in doing so open up the space for a neo-pagan festival actually destroying the spiritual work that God had already accomplished. The point is that well-meaning people, atheists and Christians have all sorts of beliefs like the Bishop in the UK who didn't believe in the resurrection or the virgin birth. Then God comes back and during the time of his visitation the Holy Spirit is very powerful and it becomes obvious that the power could raise the dead and the improvement in medicine and restarting people's hearts and implanting a foetus, makes it obvious that resurrection and a virgin birth are possible and not beyond God's abilities and faith returns to the church.

Dear Tovia, Ezekiel 34 and be a confessional lutheran. Stop attacking the truth and stop confronting only Evangelicals with their superficial christian theology and practices. The meaning of Ezekiel is not as you teach in some of your videos a calling to repentance, but a promise that this repentance will be based on God's acts not ours. We are continuously sinners, condemned by our deeds, even our ''good'' deeds, but we are saved because of God's incarnation for us.
