It's taken me years to figure out what these were called. I remember seeing a big setup in a long-gone toy store called Animal Quackers at my local mall. That was sometime around the new millennium.

The spheres (or Roks) are used in conjunction with the vehicles as well as many machines like the motorized conveyor and action sorter.

The classic RC system is pretty simply to use. Just plug in and turn on the command deck, connect a controller. Then, on the vehicle insert and press down on a numbered key. When the key light blinks, select that number on your controller. When the light turns a solid color your ready to drive!

@TheAzazazazazaz1 Thanks. Get a skiptrack, No point having two loaders. The Skiptrack can lift rocks higher than any vehicles and load the monorail.

@TheAzazazazazaz1 No problem. I forgot to mention that it comes with a Silo. It's currently the only way to obtain red beams, gray catwalks, and green braces and supports. Just another reason to get the skip-track.

They no longer make most of what you see here, but they do build engineering and STEM kits under the name KidSpark. You can still buy black beams, all the inventors series parts, along with tons of new components like gears, IR sensors and more. It isn’t the same, but at least they could keep part of Rokenbok alive.

@@Kanimationmovies, it's a shame, really, because what can be seen here is a system which could grow immensely. If, indeed, some parts can still be bought, your layout can keep growing. Do you have any plans on expanding it?

It came bundled in the Monorail Metropolis Start Set which was released around 2007. Production only lasted a couple years but they are often available on eBay. Thanks for watching!
