Sort of I'd say: as demonstrated in this very video ROK Blocks were great as they could work together with existing Rokenbok pieces (& opened up new possibilities for builders too), but I think that the place Rokenbok _really_ went wrong at was when they decided to change their business from "entertainment/play" to "education" (sure, I was told that this was supposedly their only way to stay in business, but I still say that the company suffered as a result: if it was me I would have stubbornly continued selling Rokenbok's existing products under the same brand name & not gotten into the educational market at all even if the company went out of business as a result).
