What annoys me is when people at first were like " rokkets are so bad" and now people play rokkets, just cause they have amazing support now. Ive been playing rokkets from day 1 when they first came out, i dont get a new deck cuz it's meta or anything like that, i get it cuz it looks cool and i like the way they play. It just annoys me when people say "oh yh i love rokkets they are amazing" yet they were one of the people who said they were terrible.

This video is how I fell about the archetype. A letdown with some good cards, but that is not good enough to be anything but a dragon link engine, and an engine for a deck that is not nearly as good in the TCG as it is on the OCG is a bad fate for a deck

I think two spells should have been mentioned that weren’t. Borrel Supplier is GREAT for the rapid-fire build (using borrels to target rokkets for effects) always making sure you have the right ammo each standby phase, in addition to the Rokket’s special summon upon destruction effect. Borrel Regenerator is good for that archetype as well, if you REALLY need a specific answer that’s already in GY (example, a small link network that can be busted using shelrokket).

Rapid Trigger allows for some wacky stuff since it blows up the fusion materials. Usually I blow up my starving venom to summon furious Dragon triggering Starving venom to blow up my opponents monsters.

I was wondering if let say I have Rokket tracer & a different Rokket on the field. I activate Squib Draw then chain Tracer effect to it. Do I still have to get rid of a Rokket monster

Just target tracer then activate tracer and destroy squib draw, then u 1st summon a rokket thanks to tracer then u shufflenthebdeck and draw 2

Can someone explain to me why a rokket effect triggered by borreload's effect can't be chained to? Or provide a link. I haven't been able to find anything on this.

I know this video is a year old But as a rokket main I have to accuse of the crime of saying only link spam works. Here’s a list of other good types of decks Synchro spam Xyz spam(if your insane enough) The aforementioned “shooting” style in the video if you play some generic dragon support (cough cough guardragons which you also mentioned 🤧) Hell, I even found this mad lad on your tube who made a BURN deck utilizing Exploderokket dragon. Overall, I disagree with you saying that rokkets can only be played by link spamming, because the amount of level 4’s and 7’s make for some good Xyz toolbox. The 2 great tuners for the archetype make for good synchro engines(cause we all now how many good level 8 synchros are in the game) But I will say there “shooting style” is a bit outdated. If you really try you can make a deck that can focus around it, although I agree it’s not the best.
