A rather late comment, but when I did my apprenticeship to a chef in Germany some 20 years ago, I was told "if you start cutting it in squares, you have to stick to square-shaped food", don´t mix the shapes. I agree with you though with just mixing up the shapes. However, it´s faster to cut everything into shape. :) Love your catch & cook videos, keep it up. Always something to learn. Cheers from Spain

I dont live on the ocean, but we have lots of lakes and rivers here. I plan on moving to Las Vegas in 6 months to a year, and in a way, i kinda wish i could get into fishing, but thats gonna be hard to do in the desert lol.

Thanks mate, yes I love catch a fish so I can feed the family. We always try to keep it interesting and cook the fish in different ways and use the fish well.
Arrange the tuna, thinly sliced, on a big plate and pour over with sizzling hot garlic chilli oil. Drip with salted coconut cream. Throw chopped spring onions on top and squeeze lemon to finish. Love the channel mate. Subscribed.

Great video mate, love those swells ,especially when anchored bottom fishing ,we attach a 8mm bungee cord to the anchor trolley, which is attached to the anchor rope ,the bungee stretches when the swell passes under you so that you are not pulled backwards .

Those burgers look so good! The only problem I have with catch and cook videos is that I'm always hungry after watching them because the food just looks so good! You're a braver man then I am going out in those conditions, I know people with big boats that'd be too worried to go out in those conditions, and you're going out on your kayak... No way would I ever be brave enough to do that

Hey just a tip I saw somewhere...whether you making a tartare sauce or other type of sauce using gherkind/onions/garlic anything, Use the grater. Its Magic! Super quick and skims those ingredients down fine. I use the small oval cutter side for cucumber/gherkins and the course oval cutter side for ginger and onion.Once you try it you will neve go back to chopping with a knife! :; IMHO

You're right about those tuna. Here in Hawaii we call them kawakawa. It really helps to bleed them right away. Try searing them with a little togarashi.
